"Get Judah off the counter now!!" I heard khalil yell, but soon his voice faded as the sound of loud gunshots filled my ears.

After what felt like a couple seconds I felt strong arms lift me off the counter; by the hardness of the surface I assumed it was a counter.

Being in and out of consciousness was probably taking a toll on what I was really seeing and feeling, however I do know that it's been a few hours since the Dcf rescued me from the burning building.

The building you burnt down?

*The building I had to burn down,

After they came to get me I know they probably brought me to the safe house in Italy, but I'm still not sure. All I know is that I was being carried by Khalil and he placed me on this hard surface because apparently I was bleeding from my stomach.

I was fighting so hard I didn't even realize that I got injured, I guess the loss of blood is what was causing me to pass out every few minutes.

Yes Judah but what's happening now explain that,

Apparently a war is taking place but I'm not sure what's happening, I just know that someone pulled me off the counter and now I'm laying on them with a huge bandage around my stomach,

We're hiding behind something, I'm sure.

I knew Khalil wasn't the one holding me by the scent, however the embrace felt familiar; it even made me feel a bit nostalgic.

when I did turn around to see who it was, I was surprised to see... Dusse?

How was this even possible, isn't Dusse dead?

"Dusse?" I said in disbelief as I tried to sit up in his arms.

"Yuh affi stay put Judah we cyah mek dem si yuh." He replied as he held me in place.
