Tyler's POV:
It was New Years Eve. Wednesday had already woken up, getting ready in the bathroom. I knocked on the frosted door, and she opened it. She was braiding her hair.
"Wow, it looks beautiful." I complimented.
"Thanks." she replied.
We went down to the breakfast buffet after we finished getting ready. Wednesday got eggs and sausage while I got avocado toast.
"In my opinion, avocado toast is disgusting." Wednesday stated as she sipped her sparkling water.
"Why are you talking?" I smirked, looking at her choice of drink.
She rolled her eyes, continuing to eat her breakfast.
After breakfast, we headed to Starbucks to pick up some coffee and then got on the subway to Times Square. It was already packed, people already finding spots behind the fences. We had the smart decision of setting up right next to a restaurant, since I heard it was going to rain. (Also for quick bathroom breaks!)
We walked around the Times Square area, checking out the M&M store before stopping at the Olive Garden next door for lunch. After lunch, we headed back to our setup, still perfectly intact, nothing stolen surprisingly. After what I'd heard about New York City, this is basically a miracle. We talked and played on our phones until about 7PM when we ate dinner at the restaurant where our setup was.
It was around 8:15 when we walked back to our setup. We watched performances until 11:58, when it actually started counting down.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.." Everyone chanted.
"Happy New Year!!" everyone exclaimed.
I kissed Wednesday on the lips, smiling.
