TW: drug use, swearingSage and I were looking in JC penny for some clothes, we were both looking in the racks for some clothes while music played in the store. We have been hanging out more recently and it's fun, she's a really nice and sweet girl than I thought she was. She used to date Ryn a while back but I don't think she minds considering we weren't friends like that beforehand. "So..I heard you and Ryn and a thing now, is it true?" Sage asked looking at the jeans section "Um, yeah we started dating a week ago it's been pretty great." I said, looking at some shirts for school next week. "Congrats." She said not looking up at me staring at the piece of clothing like she was thinking in her head. "So what do you think of these jeans? Too boxy?" She asked facing me with the pair of jeans in her hand "No, they look fine." I say, examining the pair. "Oh okay good!" She exclaimed happily putting it in her small basket. "Im gonna meet his band today." I shared, looking in the clothing racks more. "That's nice." She coldly stated, "Have fun over there" She wished, flipping her hair to the front. "Yeah it should be fun!!" I agreed with her smiling as we both walk away from this section of the store to another part while listening to the store music

"C'mon I promise they're friendly!" Ryn exclaimed joyfully, I had never seen him this happy before since the day that I met him until now. "Okay then.." I'd say shly as I walked into the garage. The garage smells like a bunch of drugs had a baby together and this was the baby. "Guys this is Cleo my new girlfriend, Cleo this is Esmeralda, Tyler, Tony and heather." Ryn introduces me to his band, Lenox. "Heyy.." I say quietly due to the fact that I even know these people. "Hey pretty lady, you can sit down right there." Heather pointed down to the bean bag that was on its last life. I plopped myself down on the bean bag as I watched the band prepare for their rehearsal.

After they had band practice the band sat down relaxed. Their songs are actually pretty good for a highschool band. Watching them stand up, and then all of the sudden they get some bags out of some case of what appears to be drugs. I only though they did weed but I was wrong as hell, they are doing the HARDCORE stuff. The bag of the powdery substance gets passed around, though only Tyler declines, placing his hand up and pushing the bag away. The bag gets passed to me, and for a moment, I just watch the bag move. There's no reason to, as whoever is next to me wants it back (most likely it's theirs). "What's in it?" I ask, glad that my hands aren't shaking. An answer floats through the air, though it falls flat on my ears. Grabbing the bag, I look at it for a moment; there's obviously less of the substance inside of it, though there's still a fair amount. Maybe they're saving it, maybe not. It's not my business what they choose to do. I hand the bag to whoever's next to me, and they take it gracefully. "You don't want any?" They ask, and I look to see that it's Heather, with what looks to be an almost smile on her lips. I shake my head at her words, my hands on my knees, trying to ignore how much they were sweating. "No thank you." I reply, ignoring the looks that were given. Then I heard a whisper "This is just the light stuff, the hard shit is coming soon, just pretend you're sick or some shit" I could recognize it was Tyler's voice due to the amount of voice cracks he had. "No thank you." I repeat, my voice more clear than before; it feels like, for just a moment, eyes glance at me, wondering what's going on.o It's awkward, a silence falling upon everyone, though I just shrug my shoulders, letting out a sigh.

While the others talked, I mostly was looking at the ceiling completely zoning out not really carting what they said and what they were doing as soon I zoned back, I heard my name called. Glancing up, I see that it's ryn "Cleo, are you..okay?" Ryn asked, he took a few pauses because he was higher than a kite "Um..Yeah I'm fine." I'd say gripping my jeans.
"You-You know you're really hard on yourself sometimes" Ryn blurted out randomly, while looking at me "Huh-" Your too pretty to be hard on yourself honestly," Ryn blurted out randomly, "Huh-" "You heard what-what I said." Ryn cutting me off. "Your too hard on yourself Cleo, your too pretty to be like that honestly, like let loose and be hot or something." Ryn, taking another puff from the blunt that's being passed around. I started to listen to the music that was playing Violet by Hole. The bands music taste is very interesting from Metallica to Nirvana to Kiss to now Hole. "Guys I remember this one time where-where I snuck out with this guy to a concert when I used to live my granny. Like it was a nirvana concert before Kurt died, but then I went to his house, I forgot how old he was but anyways, so like then I stayed there for the night forgetting that like I had to go back to my grandmas so she thought I didn't sneak out, so now I wake up around 4am and like I had sneak back into the house without her knowing and luckily I did like successfully and she didn't even fucking know at all in the morning." Ryn burtled out, everyone was mostly confused because one people thought he was straight the entire time they known him, I did too. "Bro are you gay or something?" One of his bandmates say, there was a huge silence in the room the music filling the silence in the space. "I'm not gay— it was late at night,,, and i just— listen, bassically I like boys and girls, I don't-dont know the fucking term but I like both." Ryn explained while being on a mixture of weed and crack. I didn't wanna ask any questions now since it wouldn't be an honest answer considering he's under the influence. So I just waited until tomorrow too ask him about it
because right now, I'm very fucking confused on what just happend.
