SAM BARGED IN the motel room eagerly. He had just found out some news, one that could possibly help with the case.

"So, I think it's safe to say we can rule out Nessie." Sam said, sitting down next to dean in the bed while Elliot was in the table, yawning for the a thousand time that day.

The blonde knew she was slacking off so she grabbed the laptop and started looking through every website and through Wikipedia to see if she could find anything that could possibly help them get closer to finishing the case.

Only anytime she would bring something to Dean, his only response would be: "Already thought about it with Sam and it can't be possible."

Elliot only replied with sighs and would slid back to the chair with a frown and sometimes an eye roll.

"What do you mean?" Dean asked, now confused as he looked over his shoulder to his little brother.

"I just drove past the Carlton house. There was an ambulance there-"

"- who died?-"  Elliot instantly said, not meaning anything to it but the blonde was shocked when she got an answer.

"Will Carlton."

"He drowned?" Dean asked.

"Yep, in the sink." Sam replied.

"What the hell?"

"How the fuck does that happen?" Elliot then spoke, mainly to herself as she glanced back at the laptop in front of her.

"So your right this isn't a creature. We're dealing with something else." Dean said, looking over at Sam.

"Yeah, obviously but what?" Elliot said as she sat up, elbows on the table as she closed the laptop.

"That, I don't know." Dean replied.  "A water wraith maybe? Some kind of demon? I mean, something that controls water..." It took a moment for the three of them to realize and click in their heads. " or water that comes from the same source."

"The lake."

"Yeah."

"Which would explain why it's upping the body count. The lake is draining, it'll be dry in a few months. Whatever this thing is, whatever it wants, it's running out of time."

"And if it can get through the pipes it can get to anyone almost anywhere." Elliot added.

"This is gonna happen again soon." Dean said.
