Surprise Attack

The next morning everyone was gather together to discuss the matter about Meliodas. "This Meliodas is not the same Meliodas as the one you know. He will not hesitate to kill you if he sees you as a threat, that's why I advise you all to stay on guard if you happen to approach him" the demon king said.

"This boy must be stopped. I just found out he has slain Loki when he tried to invade us just now" Odin said. "He even took down Loki? Then he must be stronger than we imagine him to be" Rias said. "That is why we will be sending out groups just in case if you were to encounter him. That'll at least give you a fighting chance" Sirzechs said. "Meliodas mention something about being the next demon king. What does he mean by that?" Xenovia asked.

"It means exactly what it sounds like: he wants to be the next demon king. We already saw the first stage of this process when he lost his emotions" the demon king said. "But his emotions should be in Purgatory. If we were to send someone there to retrieve them, it could prevent him from turning into the demon king and return him back to normal."

"But Purgatory is a place that no man can ever survive. Just a couple of seconds in there makes you old enough to your death stage. Whoever will go to retrieve them will have to be immortal or something" Azazel said. "I'm immortal" Ban said as everyone looked at him. "I'll go to  Purgatory."

"Ban, you can't!" Asia told him. Ban looked at her and said "I'm the only one who can go and retrieve the captain's emotions." Asia looked down as Ban lifted her chin up. "Hey, I promise I'll be back. And when I do, we're going to celebrate with a bunch of ale" Ban told her as he then smile at her. Tears started to form inside Asia's eyes as she then hugged him as Ban then hugged her back. He look up to the demon king and said "I'm ready."

The demon king nodded his head and put up his hand. He summon a portal and said "This portal should take you to Purgatory. You must find Meliodas's emotions quick." Ban nodded as he let go of Asia. He walked over to the portal before looking back at his friends for one last time. "See ya" he said as he did a little salute before entering the portal.

The portal closed as everyone remain silent. "Now then, while Ban is getting Meliodas's emotions, we should start finding the ten commandments" the demon king said. Suddenly the doors open as a soldier ran through them terrified. "Your highness! It's them! The rest of the ten commandments! They're here!" the soldier said as what he said surprised everyone. "They're here? Are they mad?" the demon king said. "Only two of them came! T-They told me, that Meliodas has already gotten the other four commandments!" the soldier said.

Everyone was surprise by that as Azazel said "I'm not that surprise. All the time we've been wasting planning, he's been using it to get the other commandments." The demon king walked out of the building where outside stood two people. "Monspeet, Derieri. why have you two come to me?" the demon king asked them. "We are not here to fight. In fact, we wish to give up our commandments" Monspeet said.  

"What?" the demon king said. "Meliodas killed our friends right in front of our faces. We knew he was after our commandments. So we wish to give them up" Derieri said. "This doesn't make any sense. Wouldn't you two want to fight back or at least be against joining us?" the demon king said. "We never said we'll join you. All we want is to give up our commandments so that we can live a peaceful life" Mospeet said. The demon king nodded his head as he lifted his hand up and the commandments came out of Monspeet and Derieri. 

They then went back to him where he absorb them. "You two should stay though. Meliodas doesn't know that you two have given up your commandments and he'll still go after you" the demon king said. Monspeet scratch his chin and said "That doesn't sound like a bad idea." The demon king nodded his head and said "Now, please follow me inside."

He went back inside the building with Monspeet and Derieri behind him. Everyone turn to him and he said "It is ok. These two are on our side. They have given up their commandments." Mostly everyone was surprise by that as Rias started counting the commandments. "Wait. We have two commandments and Meliodas should have six, but we were told he had killed the rest of the members. So where are the last two commandments?"

The demon king turn to his two sons as everyone looked at them. Estarossa chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Well, actually, we have the last two commandments" he said as Zeldris stood there with his arms crossed. "What!?" Rias said surprised. "C'mon now. I'm pretty sure my idiotic brother here has told you about his commandment at least once" Zeldris said. "No. He never did" Rias said. Zeldris turn to his brother and Estarossa said "What? I didn't think it was important enough to tell her about."

"Well it's important now" Zeldris told him. "Their is no reason for us to be arguing amongst ourselves. We now must wait for Meliodas to arrive and we'll have to distract him long enough for Ban to retrieve his emotions" the demon king said as he then turn to his sons. "You two. I must take your commandments." His sons nodded their heads as the demon king then took their commandments.

"Your highness! He's here! Meliodas has arrive!" a soldier shouted as everyone went to their positions. The demon king walked outside where he saw Meliodas in the sky looking down at them. "Give me the commandments, old man" Meliodas said. "We will not give them to you Meliodas. I know you are not yourself, so please, just hold on until you retrieve your emotions" the demon king said.

"Wrong answer" Meliodas said as he lifted his hand and black orbs appear in his hands. He threw them at the building where each orb caused a tiny explosion. "Chastefol!" King shouted as he summon his sacred treasure and command it to pierce through Meliodas. The staff pierce through Meliodas's chest as he groan a little in pain. "Cruel sun!" Escanor shouted as he threw a tiny sun at Meliodas.

"Full counter!" Meliodas shouted as he used his sword to reflect the attack. Escanor dodge the attack and dashed towards Meliodas. He swung his axe down onto Meliodas who blocked it with his sword. "Is the best you got?" Meliodas asked. Escanor chuckled and said "No. Sadly I don't use one hundred percent of my power on those beneath me."

Suddenly two people jumped into the air as Kiba shouted "Now, slice him!" He and Xenovia used their swords to slash Meliodas's back as he groan a little in pain. "Get off of me!" Meliodas shouted as let out a dark wave and made those around him fly away.

Inside the building, a room was shacking as Merlin looked up. "Hm. It appears they're going at it out there. What do you think, Ms. Phoneix?" Merlin asked as Ravel was waking up as she sat up on a bed. She open her eyes and asked "Where's Meliodas?"
