pulling into mia's apartment parking lot aj felt scared. she thought that mia didn't want to be her friend.
ill deserve it though. she should never want to be my friend again after the way i treated her. she thought to herself
she knocked on her door. patiently waiting. after a few moments and hearing no movement from inside she sighed and turned to leave
i knew it. she doesn't want to talk to me
just as she finished the thought she heard the door open from behind her. she quickly turned around and came face to face with mia.
silence. again with the silence. aj thought.
"hi.." aj finally got the courage to speak first.
"hi. what are you doing here?" mia rasped out. it sounded like her voice hadn't been used or her throat was dry.
"i'm here to talk."
with slight hesitation mia opens the door wider
"okay. come in."
the reached mia's living room. it was quite empty. just a couch, a tv and a bunch of pictures of aj , dylan and mia.
huh i never realized how often mia's with me and dylan. maybe that's why her house is so empty.
"so how are you?" aj questioned as they sat on the small couch
"cmon ariana just get to it." mia said as she stared blankly at her
she did not just real name me. aj thought
"i'm sorry for freaking out on you. it's just i never thought you would lie. to me of all people. especially about something like this."
"aj would you have been any less mad if i told you about it myself ? no exactly. it's something you should've heard from me. and i'm sorry i know i shouldn't have lied. but you gotta know that. you and dylan are my family. the only family i've had since i was a kid. i would never and i mean never hurt you intentionally hurt you. i love you so much ari and i'm so glad you're my bestfriend."
"sister." aj stated
"huh?" mia was rather confused
"you're my sister."
"what..."
"you're my sister. blood or not. you're my sister and you're dylan's sister and you're our family. and i know you would never intentionally hurt me. i.. i was just scared you've never lied to me before and i don't know. i'm sorry i got so mad it wasn't fair. i've done worse to you. and you've let me and i'm so sorry mia i'm so sorry, please forgive me. i hate that you hate me." aj said tears falling down her cheeks for the second time today.
"hate you? i could never hate you ari. i thought you hated me. and you did nothing to need forgiveness. you had your reasons. i just hope you can forgive me."
" i could never hate you too mia. and you were forgiven the same day.. i just thought maybe you didn't want to be my friend anymore and that you hated me"
"well it's a good thing i'm not your friend."
"what..." it was aj's turn to be confused
"it's a good thing i'm your sister." a bright smile appeared on their faces as they wrapped each other in their arms.
"i love you mj" "i love you more aj"
pulling away mia immediately interrogates
"now that we are good. i need to know. have you talked to jenna? have you seen jenna"
"yeah.. just for a little. we talked out the whole secret identity thing and she told me to talk to you and she'll be waiting...."
"WELL WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR YOU GOTTA GO KISS HER." mia jumped up and threw her hands up.
"i.. i don't think she likes me like that." aj nervously played with her necklace.
"trust me she does." mia sung
"now go go i won't have you here any longer." mia all but dragged aj out of the house.
"okay okay i'll see you later ?"
"yea yea love you"
"love you to!!"
just as aj is about to round corner mia calls out her name
"also text the group chat me and dylan wanna meet her asap 911!!"
"goodbye mia" aj chuckled.
reaching her car she sighed
"well now i have to go kiss jenna" aj pulled out her phone . noting that the both had the same contact names.
aj the swiftie me and mia are good. send me the address i think there's still more we need to talk about

i lied. this isn't the last chapter of act one😭😭 i also hate this chapter 😔 next one is though. but im currently on my phone and it's a lil harder sooooooo i split it. again. soo here's this while i edit the next chapter 🥲
