I woke up in a daze my vision going blurry as I slowly started to wake up. I couldn't remember where I was or even who I was. Then everything came flowing back to me as I sat up a bit, my arms holding onto my legs as I cried a bit. "Of course, that happened to me I can never be happy can I?" I stare at the photo on my bedside as I grab it and take a look.
It's a picture of me and my parents from a couple of years ago before the incident happened. "We were so happy huh? Now it seems like being happy is a distant memory I can't feel..."
*2 Days Earlier*
I just got home after I met Yuma I smiled in delight at the thought of having a girlfriend. I always thought myself ugly so I never really gave in to the thought of someone liking me at all. I looked at my watch and realized the time and date. "Woah I've been here for that long? Well with all the freaky shit that's been happening, I shouldn't be surprised..." I sigh as I look up and head to my room to work out a bit. Ever since the incident, I have wanted to stay in shape and I'm kind of disappointed that I haven't done it the past few days.
After I was done with my workout I took a quick shower and headed to bed. After a surprisingly restful sleep, I got up and headed to school. I arrived at the school and sighed as I saw Rias waiting for me at the entrance "Hi Rias." She looks around before spotting me and smiling and waving. I wave back as she comes over.
"I've been looking for you for a while it's almost like you've been avoiding me." She keeps her grin on her face so I know she's joking but she doesn't know how spot-on she is.
"I lost track of the days thought Tuesday was Friday and holed up in my house. I've been having kind of a rough week." Her smile falters as she looks at me with concern. "Are you ok? If there's anything you need you can talk to me." As I'm talking to her I can feel the glares of the other boys as they're staring at us.
"Why does he get to talk to Rias that much?"
"Do you see how close he is I bet you can smell her perfume?"
"I wonder how big her knockers look from up close."
I frown before realizing I haven't responded to what she said. "Oh yeah I'm fine now thanks for your concern and if I ever do feel bad I will think about your offer." She smiles before walking off to class and I sigh in relief. 'Was she one of those fallen angels that are after me?'
(Rias POV)
I'm sure of it I can feel the presence inside of him. I show a small smile as I walk away from him. 'Maybe he'll be the one to save me.'
(Normal POV)
The school day ended and I sighed in relief, but as I tried to get up from my seat a bunch of guys surrounded my table.
"Hey, pal." I look up at them as I grimace. They grin maliciously at me as they drag me out of the classroom. As we make it to the back of the school, one of the guys throws me down before kicking me in the gut. I scream out in pain as the guy's grin gets wider. "We just wanna know why you're hanging out with Rias Gremory... if you tell us we won't hurt you, well more than we already did."
I get up and spit on his face before grinning at him. "Why should I give a fuck?"
He wipes the spit off his face before he and his gang start laughing. "Oh you think you're funny do ya? We'll wipe that smirk right off your FACE!" As he finishes his sentence he throws a right hook at my face. I duck under the punch and hit him hard in the stomach. He gasps as the wind is knocked out of him and I flip him over my shoulder, my hand still holding his arm.
"Now you and you're buddies need to leave. If they don't I will break your arm." He smiles and flips me off with his other hand.
"Try me bitch your too much of a pussy AGHHHHHH." I broke his arm as he screamed out in pain clutching his arm. "Fuck this guy everyone gang on him!"
"That's enough!" Everyone quiets down as we look towards the voice and see Rias standing there, her arms crossed under her boobs accentuating them. We all blush before realizing the compromising situation we are in. "I saw everything that happened if you and your friends don't leave (Y/N) alone I will tell my father." The boys get a scared look on their faces before they run off.
"Thanks, Rias, I'm strong but I don't know if I could take them all ganging on me." She smiles at me before walking towards me and grabbing my arm putting it between her boobs. I blush as she smirks.
"You're so cute when you blush." This makes me blush even harder as we walk to the front of the school. "Make sure you get home safely I can't save you when you leave the school." She winks before walking back to the school.
"Huh, I never see her leaving the school I wonder why..." I shrug before walking home, the feeling of her breasts still on my arm.
(Timeskip)
I wake up as I stretch and look at the time on my clock. I get out of bed before remembering what today is. "Ah shit, my date is today. I rush to get everything ready as I get some comfortable clothes on and grab the flowers I have for her. I look into the mirror and smile ready for today's date "This ugly mug is getting a date with a pretty girl." I couldn't believe it for a moment before realizing it was almost time.
I arrived at the place a few minutes early so I waited. As I'm waiting a pretty girl with bat wings walks up to me and hands me a flier. "Um, thanks?" She smiles before walking away as I look at it. "'Your wish will come true' huh? Well, I wish-"
"(Y/n)?" I look over and see Yuma wearing a purple shirt with a black skirt. I blushed a little as she looked really pretty. "I hope you didn't wait too long." I give her a quick smile as I slide the flier into my pocket.
"No, I just got here too you ready to go?" She gives me a big yes as we go on our date. We got to different food stands and went to a zoo. I got her a bracelet as she blushed and thanked me before looking at it. "What's wrong do you not like it?" Yuma looks up before shaking her head at me.
"No, that's not it I just haven't had anyone show me as much kindness as you have today without wanting something from me. I will forever cherish this." I blush at her words as she puts it on and smiles running the pearls between her fingers.
"It's starting to get late do you want to head home?" Her smile fades as she looks at the horizon. She looked so sad at that moment but I didn't realize the true reason then. "Hey, I promise we'll go on another date soon." She gives me a small smile before nodding her head and following me. We walked through the park before she suddenly stopped in front of the fountain. "What's wrong?"
"I have one question for you to end our date." I nod my head as a signal to go on. She walked up to me before whispering in my ear. "Will you die for me?"
'Run.'
The word ran through my head and before I could even process what was happening she started to transform right in front of me. She got some dominatrix clothes on and she had a sinister feel about her. "I'm sorry but my name is Raynare and I have to kill you." I tried to close my mouth after watching her transform before remembering that name.
"Raynare that's the name that guy said after he broke into my house." Before I could prod further I felt a stab in my gut. I coughed up blood as I looked at Raynare who had a sorrowful look on her face. "Why?" I fell on my back as I finally looked at what stabbed me. It was some sort of spear but it looked like it was made out of light.
"I should've known I couldn't be happy..." Yuma gives me a sad look before transforming into her real state.
"I'm sorry it had to end this way but it's the way it has to be." She flies away as I feel my eyelids grow heavy. 'Well I guess I can never take Rias up on her offer... she seemed like a nice girl I wish to get to know her more..." As I'm going out I feel my pocket burning and a voice in the darkness.
"You will not die."
