Jeff was in the kitchen , he was sitting at the table not saying a word. He felt guilty for saying the kids was a mistake but he wanted to protect barcode. Jeff also noticed barcode didn't come down from breakfast.

After breakfast , tong took a plate and walked upstairs into barcode's room. He saw barcode curled up in the blankets, with red puffy eyes. Barcode was asleep. Tong set the plates down and woke barcode up.
Barcode: mm ,what?
Tong: it's almost the afternoon , you have to get up. Tong sits on the edge of the bed. Barcode sister up still curled up with the blanket. His face was sad.
Tong: what happened? And don't tell me nothing , it's looks like you've been crying all night.
Barcode: I don't wanna talk about it.
Tong: fine , but you at least have to eat something.
Barcode: fine. Tong hands barcode a peice of toast. Barcode eats a piece.
Barcode: he kissed me and said it was a mistake.
Tong: huh?! Who?
Barcode: phi Jeff. Barcode says taking another bite of the toast.
Tong: I'm sorry he told you that. But I can tell you that he's lying. Look , I've now Jeff for years and I haven't seen him that worried about anyone that he was about you that day you went missing. I don't know why he would tell you that but it must be for a good reason.
Barcode: thanks p'tong. He was probably only worried because I have magic and he didn't want Xander to get it , nothing else.
Tong: don't say that , that's not true.
Barcode: thanks for trying to cheer me up p'tong. Barcode hugs tong. Tong was surprised at first but hugged him back. Tong rubbed his head and let barcode hug him.
Tong used to have a little brother but tongs brother passed away when they were just kids. He died of cancer.
Tong enjoyed this hug. Tong held barcode I'm his arms and let him lay there.

Jeff was walking down the hall when he peeked in barcodes room. Tong was holding barcode in his arms. They was both sleeping on the bed. Jeff couldn't help but smile at them.
Jeff walked away and walked on to the elevator. He hit the 5th floor , and goes into that room. Barcodes dad is still chained up.
John: you bastard! I'm going to kill all of you!
Jeff: even your own son? Jeff says calm with his hands in his pockets.
John: if I have to , yes.
Jeff: what I want to know is , why your working for Xander. What's in it for you?
John: that's none of your dam business!
Jeff: when you try to kill my whole pack , it is my business.
Jeff: here , it's your snack for today. Jeff says throwing a sandwich over to him. Jeff then leaves the room.

The next day...
Barcode started waking up. He set up and checked the time. It was 8:30 am. He got up and showered. After his shower , he headed down to breakfast. Everyone was already at the table. He sat down next to tong and ate in silence.
After everyone was done with their breakfast , they all went to do their own thing. Barcode stayed in the kitchen and helped tong with the dishes. Tong was drying a plate and barcode was washing a cup.
Barcode: hey p'tong , can I ask something?
Tong: sure , what is it?
Barcode: how did you...die? Well get turned?
Tong: my dog took off into the woods so I went to look for him , as I was looking for him I tripped and fell down a sheep hill. I was dying. Jeff found me and bit me , he saved me. Well I mean kinda , I'm still dead but you know I'm here. Tong laughs a little bit.
Barcode: what was it like for you at first?
Tong: it was hard to adjust to but over time I got used to it.
Barcode: what about your dog? Did you ever find him?
Tong: yeah , he was fine. A couple years later he did though from old age. Tong says laughing.
Barcode nods while washing the last dish. Tong drys it.
Tong: I'm gonna go get changed out if my pajamas.
Barcode: ah alright.
Tong walks away and walks upstairs into his room to change. Barcode goes up to the library. As he's walking to the library he hears loud noises coming from the 5th floor. He gets curious and goes up to the 5th floor. He goes to open the door but it's locked. He takes a paper clip and tries pick locking the door. Luckily it works. He slowly turns the door knob and walks in.
When he walks in his eyes turn wide. His face turns pale , he looks like he just saw a ghost. He sees his dad chained up , empty cups in the floor and left over sandwiches. Tears fill his eyes.
Barcode: d-dad.
