Chapter 6

I'm sure your wondering what the crew's life was like before the agency, well, in this chapter we will be discussing that.

The leader of MWOODA, Gravel was sitting on a couch reading a book about the history of the Monster World. In his youth, he was actually a rowdy child, living on the Continent, causing trouble and mischief wherever he went. One day, his father, a Potbelly that lived on Party island, talked to him.

"Son, me and your mother have talked with each other and have decided to send you to Cloud Island, to learn some discipline." Gravel couldn't believe it, his own parents sending him alone to a new island and expecting him to learn discipline?

"B-but Father-" Gravel was silenced by his father's stern voice. the look on the Plant elemental's face meant business, so Gravel quieted down.

The next day, Gravel's parents took him to the SkyPort and sent him alone on a ship, on a course straight for Cloud island. But during the flight, a massive storm hit. This led to the ship being blown off course, now heading to Cave Island, a well known military camp in the monster world.

Gravel then spent the next 10 years going through military training he wasn't even supposed to do. Throughout those years he grow to resent his parents and gained the no-joke attitude he has. The rest of his story is simple, he started the agency because he wanted a greater purpose and collected the rest of the team throughout his years. Though one day, someone would change his life.

Mabel was an orphan, as she never had parents but was created by common Wubbox. at a young age, she was sent through about 50 adoption agencies. by the time she was 17, no one adopted her as no one wanted a Wublin as they were troublesome. but one day a Oaktopus came in to browse the children, this Oaktopus was Gravel. Mable didn't care about the visitors as they never cared about her.

"Yes, I'm adopting the Wublin, the Poewk." Mabel was shocked yet excited. If you're wondering why this was never mentioned is because the relationship between Mabel and Gravel is so casual they are like old friends and no one at the agency knows. That day when Gravel took her home, his heart's rocky exterior broke and he let love into his life, once more.
