Brooke Jade Halstead - Upstead marriage story

First day.

When a 15 year old Brooke Jade Halstead woke up from her bed she heard noises from her mother so she got out of bed and walked down the stairs to see what the noise was. As soon as she got down there she saw her mother cooking breakfast while a man was sitting by the table as she said..

" Mom! Who's this guy?" Brooke asked her
" it's me." Jay Halstead said and she was shocked, she hugged him as her mother said
" I was going to surprise you with him bringing your breakfast up to your room but- you came down." Hailey Halstead said
" sorry mom I just heard some noise." Brooke said
" So you gotta boyfriend yet?" Jay asked his teenage daughter
" What ew no! Boys are gross." Brooke said as her mother chuckled
" I tried to warn you about it that she doesn't like boys." Hailey said
" well good cause I don't want her too." Jay said as he kissed his daughter's forehead and his wife's cheek
" And where do you think you're going?" Brooke asked as Hailey laughed
" As for your information I'm going to take a shower." Jay said as he walked up the stairs to him and Hailey's bathroom as the girls giggled

At work

" Hey it's the Halstead's." Adam Ruzek said as he saw the three walking up the stairs
" Hey uncle Adam, Hey uncle Kevin." Brooke said while smiling
" What's up little Halstead." Kevin said
" Oh my favorite Halstead is here." Kim said as Hailey and Jay chuckled
" Witch one?" Both of them asked
" All of you three of course." Kim said as she gave all of them a hug
" At least I'm aunt Kim's favorite out of mom and dad." Brooke said
" True!." Adam said as the rest of the intelligence laughed
" Anyways what are we working on today?" Hailey asked them
" Well Hank said that we're supposed to be getting a new detective today." Kevin explains
" So that means no work?" Jay asked his co-workers
" yep means no work for right now." Adam said as Hank came out of his office with a woman
" Guys I would now present Vanessa Rojas." Hank said and they were shocked especially the girls
" WHAT NO WAY! VANESSA ROJAS IS BACK?" Kim asked looking shocked as ever even Hailey
" Yep I'm back! Back indeed." Vanessa said as everyone gave her a hug
" Wait it's 2023! So the last time we saw you it was in 2020." Jay related 
" wow Hailey your man knows math." Vanessa said as everyone laughed especially Halstead
" well one I do know math and two I am her man." Jay said as Hailey blushed
" Alright partners Jay and Hailey, Kim and Adam, & Kevin and Vanessa." Hank said as he walked back into his office with Rojas again
" OMG Rojas is back can you believe that." Kim asked
" it's almost been like - 4 years since we last saw her." Jay said as Hailey nodded
" not after Hank transformed her to new York for the past 3 years." Adam said
" Alright well I'm going to get lunch, Brooke your coming?" Hailey asked as her daughter came out of the break room
" Yeah I'm coming!." Brooke said as her and Hailey left
" I remember when she was like 3 year old she used to follow Jay around all the time here." Kim said
" Yeah and she still does that." Jay said as they all laughed
