(im back after a year LOL sorry for being inactive i forgor i made this lmao
i'll try to make more updates in the future, but most of them wont be as long or good in quality because im trying to focus on myself and my studies right now.
so for now, i will make shorter side chapters in my free time to fill in the space
those extras i will be making, they will have their own respecting titles, which will not relate to the "_ DAYS LEFT..." format, unless it contains the entirety of the major plot or has important parts in it. basically, only chapters with the blank days left format will be the serious plot based chapters and chapters like this one for example, are extras. sorry its so complicated
btw suntan this extra, feel free to skip.
hope u guys dont mind)

3ND PERSON
KEL hastily dashed away from the scene, he didn't want the others to see his embarrassing expression. His face was flushed in a deep red as he quickly darted away towards their secret spot. He had to get out of there quickly.
KEL didn't know why he was acting like this, or why he was feeling this way, but he knew that he didn't like it one bit. He felt that it was weird, especially because it was SUNNY. SUNNY and him were just close friends, nothing more, nothing less. They were like brothers. And the both of them were both boys too.
KEL had never heard that such a thing existed, two boys dating, only for him to overhear his parents, specifically his mother, to call it a "mutation" once.
So he came to the conclusion that if his parents didn't like it, he wouldn't like it. Simple as that. If they disagreed, he did too. If what they said was bad, it was bad. So why did he feel this way? Was it just a mere desire to become closer, like BASIL and SUNNY did? Becoming best friends?
Or was he really disobeying his parents out of spite? He didn't know the answer, and he didn't want to know the answer. He didn't bother to think about it much more. He just ran away ashamed that he felt such a thing towards the black haired boy.
As the tanned boy looked at SUNNY once last time before losing sight of him, his heart raced. He started to become sweaty and anxious. Not because he was running so quickly, but because he felt so nervous, yet so happy. Seeing the sight of the pale, shy boy, he immediately blushed and looked away as fast as he could, severing the eye contact that he gave him. KEL tried to avoid looking at SUNNY as much as he could, because most of the time he'd either get really really nervous, or just stare at his face for an awkward period of time, which he hated.
That's why KEL tried to erase the joyous, yet such annoying feeling from his vibrant heart as much as he could, hoping he won't have to feel like that towards him again. SUNNY wouldn't feel the same anyway.
He ran away to the thick forest and made a tender wish. He at least wished that he felt that way about a girl, so that his parents wouldn't have to be disappointed in him again. He wished that he wouldn't feel this way about his own close friend. To erase all of those feelings. He wished that he would just be normal. Not a minority or a "mutation." Not mentally ill. Not any of those things.
In reality, deep down, he deeply wished that SUNNY would feel the same way he as he did towards him, affection and love, even though he hated the feeling so much. AUBREY's comment really made him doubt everything about SUNNY.
He felt everything and everyone was mocking him. As if everybody was making fun of him and his feelings. Every time he made eye contact with a passerby, he felt almost ashamed of himself for just being this way. All of them would look at him in such a way that he almost thought they knew about what just happened. As if they were mocking him with their knowing glare. He was deeply ashamed. He wished he could just violently crush all of those things, making them disappear. Scowling, he thought of everything he wished would just go away.
'...The stupid happy face shaped clouds, the stupid passing cars, the stupid passersby, the stupid me... Everybody!'
All of them were taunting him with weird looks, them seeming to laugh at him pitifully behind his back. This only motivated him more to run away. He clenched his fists in rage and sorrow. He felt his throat closing up. He sniffled quietly, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. He hated this. Why couldn't he just be normal?
The sun shone radiantly, highlighting his figure as he ran away in tears. His silhouette cast down a long, stretched shadow onto the bleached sidewalks and the cluttered roads he remembered so vividly from his childhood. Any obstacle that came his way was circumvented with ease, he swiftly dashed away from any nearby cracks crawling with pugnacious, prickly weeds and kicked pebbles on the way, making sure to avoid any deep fissures on the worn concrete. The vibrant green blades of grass glimmered in the sunlight, they swayed back and forth in the forgiving wind, droplets of moisture rolling off their green spikes. Every single strand imitating a lead dancer. They soaked in the sun with fresh morning dew, each strand of fine grass bumping into each other masterfully, for the boy to interrupt their huge, elegant waltz. He swiftly dashed forward across solid bark, harshly crushing inferior branches in the process as he ventured further into the tree plantation and the sweet smelling greenery. Shrubs and weeds being messily entangled in his long, silky hair, he stumbled and tripped into piles of thick mud left over from the heavy spring rains. Covered in filth, he continued to traverse the vast forest while crying in frustration. Translucent orbs dove into the moist sludge as he pitifully got up. He was deeply overtaken by his own childish emotions, disturbing many small lives living in the green hue. Full of strong and melancholic feelings, the sunburned boy felt. KEL then fully disappeared in the lush green foliage, not to be seen again.
As usual, KEL still couldn't accept the statements she made about him. But this time, it was very different. This time, the comment that AUBREY made... It put KEL in a tough spot. KEL couldn't either accept it or deny it. He could do nothing but yell at her furiously. He was in deep denial.
Just like AUBREY whispered back there, "Could it be...? Is he in denial?"
Yes he is indeed. Ah, young love... How it can be so troublesome and cruel at times.
