"Well if that is what you want." I shrugged at Gia.
We have been in China for about two weeks now. Everything is going smoothly, she's getting on my fucking nerves. But that was always the case, we haven't really been beefing, it's more of a cordial type of relationship now.
"Okay so if you wear the red suit then I will wear black." She shrugged.
" You can wear whatever you wanna wear, if that works for you it's fine with me." I put on my bra and she flopped on the bed. "Come on Gia, don't work yourself up about nothing." I continued to get dressed.
" This shit is just so stressful, I just want my dad to be proud of me. I am sick of being a disappointment to him." I looked at her and she started crying. " it is really hard."
" Gia, the most you have to do is just sit back and observe, you're putting too much weight on your shoulders. Do not try to keep up with your dad because you're new to this. Just sit back and watch how he maneuvers, and he speaks. Once you get down those things, then you should start putting forth your input and things like that." I sighed. " your dad is excited about you being here. He is just proud that you are making an effort. He doesn't expect you to have it all down. One thing I can tell you is that you have really proven yourself to be way smarter than I thought you were." She wiped her face.
"Baby!" Josh yelled.
"Yes baby." I buttoned up my shirt and he walked in the room.
"What is wrong?" He looked at Gia.
"She is just stressing."
"About what?"
"She is-"
"I am tired." She cried.
" oh, just relax, the meeting was canceled because of some family issues. We can chill in here today. Watch a few movies, order some food out or something. Just have a day where it's just us. I am tired of the outside world too." He sat next to her. "Come on." He held his arms open and she crawled into his lap and cried. And he rubbed her back.
Honestly, I was relieved as well because I didn't feel up to it today either. I have been feeling sick for like the last week or so. This feeling usually fades away. That's why I just go and keep a positive mindset and by the afternoon everything feels better.
I went in the bathroom.
She has been an emotional wreck most of this trip. He is so fucking patient with her. I don't know how to deal with that shit. I'm not good with emotions. I'm not even going to lie, this trip has been kind of fun.
I took off my shirt.
I have been feeling sick all fucking morning.
"You all right?" Josh walked in behind me and I nodded. " do you still feel sick?" I nodded.
