I was on my bed scrolling through TikTok, and to be honest. It was my comfort app. I got a text from Mrs. Roscoe saying to meet at 4pm at her house, it was currently 2pm. I realized I've wasted enough time so I went straight for a shower .

After doing my morning skincare, my makeup and getting dressed. I still had 35 more minutes so I decided to last-minute pack to stay at their home for the weekend. I'm overwhelmed since I've never stayed in such a beautiful and huge house. 'Come on Elena it's only for 2 days'. I thought to myself.

I was wearing an cropped high neck sweater with jeans. I'm pretty sure this is appropriate to babysit. I've never done this so it could be frustrating sometimes. I grabbed some snacks for the twins and books I could read to them before they sleep. It was honestly my favourite thing to do with them.

I loved reading to them. It's so calm.

I walked down to my car and threw the bags of clothes and supplies in the trunk and head out.
It gets so boring driving, so obviously i had to call my best friend to check up on her, especially after the other day. I'm so glad Corbin could come In time. I have to thank him once more for saving my ass.

I hit the dial button, and she picks up right away. "Hey girl" her voice comes raspy - she must of just woken up, i don't blame her. It's her normal routine staying up till 7am and waking up at 4. "Don't tell me you just woke up?" I said damn knowing the answer.

"Uh, well it's because Zane came over last night, and we stayed up watching 5 different romance movies. Crazy isn't is?" She yawned. "Anyway -how are you? Is everything fine from the night before?" I said quickly "yes Elena! I'm so sorry, I heard what happened and I apologize for leaving you alone like that. Wont happen again,promise." She sighed "it's alright Cora, I just needed to know you were okay."

"I am okay, don't worry ." I could imagine her smiling saying that. "So...Did lover boy pick you up?" She asked after a moment of silence. "First of all, he's not lover boy. Second- I'm headed to his house." I said focusing on the road. "Hm.." she said sounding suspicious of me "obviously to babysit! Cora relax your ass."

We both giggled at the same time. "Okay I'm gonna get up and eat, I'm starving!"
"Okay bye Cora."
"Bye Elena bae."

I arrived after a while. Staring at the house I finally rang the bell. It was well...fancy

Mrs.Roscoe opened it seconds later. I smiled as he began speaking "hello Elena! I'm so glad you could make it. I'll show you where you're sleeping for the weekend and you could settle in. Also the twins are currently in the movie room. So in that time you could unload your bags."

"Thank you so much for welcoming me. I'm looking forward to be spending time with Kari and Kennedy." I finished it off with a smile. She took me upstairs to my bedroom. It was so big and pretty. I love it. "Okay well, My husband and I will be leaving in 15 minutes. You could meet us down in 10 minutes to discuss their regular routine and rules." She left when I gave a light nod "thanks"

I met them downstairs as requested. I wonder how they could afford such a magnificent and luxurious place. But that's not any of my business. "Hi, you wanted to discuss something?" I asked getting both of their attention including Corbin who was working on his laptop. "Yes. Take a seat please." I took a seat like they said.

"so, I'm handing you 2 copies of their schedule. Every Saturday they wake up at 7:35 to go to tutoring class. She usually comes here and teaches but it has been changed. You can call our number if anything happens. Thank you again Elena. I'm so glad your interested in spending time with our girls" Mrs. Roscoe said with a huge smile on her face. I could see Corbin raising his eyebrows from the side of his eye.

"Your welcome! I'm looking forward to." I replied curling my lips. "Okay, well we're heading out now, Corbin honey would you help fitting the luggage in the car?" She asked which gave Corbin all his attention to his mother. "Yeah sure."

They left moments after, and like Mr.Roscoe said I was going to head to the Movie room where the twins are before Corbin stopped me. "Hey, you okay?" He asked, I was a bit confused at first but then I'm pretty sure he was asking from the other night.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine.." I gave a polite smile and he smirked back. "My sisters are this way,come on let me show you." He lead the way. The movie room was huge. I didn't even know They had one, but woah. The door closed a bit loudly and Kennedy and Kari's attention turned to me and Corbin .

"She's here!"
"YAY!" Both of them cheered.

"You're in time, our move just finished." Kennedy said. "Perfect, you guys could hang out for a while then." Replied Corbin before heading out. "Alright."

I re-read this chapter and don't like it. It feels cringe 💀
