Crazy Love | Fake dating !!

It's been a while since I dropped them off, in my schedule it says they're supposed to be picked up at 10:00am.. about 45 minutes till then. I walked down to the kitchen to see the maid dusting off some tables. I never got to know her name so I decided to ask. "Hi my name is Elena, I'm Kari and Kennedys babysitter, I'll be staying for the weekend." I sound stupid.

"Hello! I'm Matilda, it's a pleasure to meet you!" She turned around looking excited. She looks pretty young actually, I'm guessing around her 40s, I didn't want to ask tho. It would be awkward...

"I was going to prepared dinner for the Roscoe family, since the parents aren't home, I wanted to ask you what you prefer for dinner." She said — i love her accent. "Oh, anything is fine. I think you should ask Corbin, he would know." I finished with a smile. "Anyways. Are you and Mr. Roscoe dating?" Well that went great. She's asking about my fake love life.

"Yes, I guess." She looked so proud when I spoke. "Tell me about yourself, your so beautiful, how old are you?" She said while washing a couple of plates. "I'm 21, turning 22 in October."

"Oh! Lovely. Corbin's around that age as well, I believe 24 or so. I've been working here for his whole childhood." She replied. Wow. It's crazy how long she's been here. I couldn't stop the amazement on my face.

"Oh really? That's a long time, I'm surprised." She just nod and began another conversation. "So, your now my favourite girl Corbin dear has dated, all the other girls looked like gold diggers — no offence to them." She said sitting next to me . I just smiled to that comment, she really is sweet.

"You're so kind, I think we're going to be best friends." I said. "Yes! Of course."

We talked for a while, until I realized it was 9:49am, and I'm late. I was thinking about stopping for a treat for the girls but I had no time, "I'm sorry, we could definitely continue talking afterwards." I said to Matilda as I rushed in my car.

"How was class?" I asked when I arrived, they hoped into the car. "Fine" "as usual" both of them answered.
I started driving and still am not sure if they're okay with what Corbin said in the morning.

"Are you guys mad at me?" I asked looking at them from the mirror. "Maybe." Kari said. "Not maybe, yes." Kennedy corrected for her. "Okay, I'm sorry, it was so sudden but I am happy with your brother. He makes me happy and I know it's weird sometimes and don't tell your brother but i like you guys more than him." They let our a laugh. "Okay. I guess your forgiven," Kennedy said while Kari nodded.

"So, wanna go for ice cream?" I asked since the store is 4 minutes away. "Yes!"

We ended up bringing the ice cream home since the store was rushed and there was no space to sit. They both went to their room on their iPads. And I went in mine to check if anything important is on their schedule. Babysitting is actually not that bad. It's kinda fun.

Nope, nothing important for today.

My phone rang from my side table, It was Jackie. He was calling from moms phone. "Hey Jackie, do you already miss me?" I teased. "No...moms being gross with her boyfriend. I could hear kissing from the next room can you help." He begged.

"Okay, is he over Right now?" I pursed my lips already knowing what he was about to say. "Yes Elena! Can you please come pick me up I'm dying."

"I would but... I'm babysitting and won't be home til tomorrow. How about you go biking or play outside with friends?" I suggested. "I played out for 3 hours." Gosh, well these are the cons of having a single mother. "Why don't you tell mom that you're uncomfortable with apple face." Code names are our secret language. every sibling duo have got to have them.

"Okay! Got to go. See you next week bye."
"Bye jack-" he ended the call in a hurry. I really do wonder what the fuck is happening there

I was outside by the pool for a quick swim with Kari. Kennedy was busy watching videos on her iPad near the patio—she apparently hated the sun so she stayed in the shade, while me and kari raced and did laps.

"Okay, I'm going to drown if I do more." She sarcastically panted. I rolled my eyes and ducked my head under the water. "Elena, you should tell us more about yourself!" Kennedy shouted closing her iPad showing her boredom by groaning.

She joined in the pool and began playing with my hair. "Well, I like to crochet a lot." I started off, i actually did a few, animals, blankets, plants, clothing, hats, and so much more. "Ooh! That's cool, do you have a...boyfriend?" Kari said with amusement.

"Uh, well. No I don't I'm single as a Pringle for now." I laughed that out. I don't really plan on starting a relationship anytime soon. I'm just focusing on myself for now.

They asked a few more questions,and I answered. A tall body crossed the side of my eye. "Hey, you guys having fun?" He said trailing off from the to my bikini. "Hey Corbin! Wanna join?" Kennedy asked but he just shook his head. "No, I have work that needs to be done anyway. Sorry." He said getting out of his thoughts. Kennedy frowned and started racing Kari to the end of the pool.

He ran his tongue across his teeth in thought. Then walked away.
