It's been a few hours after I left Corbin's house. I was hanging out out with Cora and we decided to go to one of her so-called events. I've never actually been to any of them, so I gave it a try especially since she's been begging me to come with her. "Why is this place in the middle of nowhere?"
"I don't know, probably because it takes place at a bar hall?" She said rolling her eyes sarcastically.

My phone began ringing seconds later

It was unknown

"Hello, who is this?" I asked "HELP" The voice sounded awfully familiar. "What happened, who is this?" I could hear giggling from the background. Without another thought I knew who it was.

"Kennedy! Don't scare me like that, are you actually okay?" I said relived
"WE'RE OKAY, DONT WORRY WE WERE JUST PRANKING YOU" Shouted Kari from the background

"Who's phone are you calling from Kennedy?". "Ummm. Daddy's" she said sounding scared. "Well, your prank was pretty realistic, I could say that." I laughed lightly . Cora gave me a look which was probably the 'Who is that' type of look.

"Keep driving" i mouthed ignoring her question.

"Well, is there anything you need?"

"Nope" she said popping the 'p'. Right before I was going to end the call, I heard a man's voice in the background-probably her father or brother

"Sorry if they bothered you, they could be silly sometimes. I'll talk to you later Elena." That sounds like...Corbin

"Oh, it's alright. I'll talk to you later." I ended the call to find Cora glancing at me. "What?" I raised my eyebrows

"Is that lover boy?" She said grinning . "No! Oh my god, the kids just prank called me. so Corbin ended the call for them" I explained slapping her arm. "Eyes on the road Cora!" I added "ugh, stop being a party pooper, and turn the music on!" Turning on the radio she swinged her arms which made me wanna kick her ass. "Cora, I swear to god if you drive like a fucking psychopath, we'll end up dead" I hate being the mom in the friendship, but this girl will legit kill me.

We arrived at the event, and it was cute I guess. Coras one of the pretty decoration type of girl, by that I mean, literally she has pastel pink balloons at the entrance, a sage green themed bar at one corner, and 4 bodyguards, did i forget to mention the amount of people she invited? Well, probably more than 450. "Cora, babe I know your a perfectionist but. How much money did it take to host this?"
"Oh! Don't worry not a lot, just $300,000. I used my dads credit card obviously!"? Rich girl.

I couldn't stop the shock on my face as I widened my eyes at the food courts and bar over in the inside of the building.

"Go enjoy yourself, Elena. You deserve it" to me, it looked like she was saying that to make out with guys and dance her ass off.
"Oh alri-" I didn't even get to finish before she ran off. I was wearing one of my favourite dresses and couldn't stop glancing at it in the mirror."

I walked further to the back to explore the building, it was so pretty. I'm so proud of Cora for getting this all together.

I felt a presence behind me I turned around to see a shadow behind me, it was a random guy, he looked fucking drunk. Probably in his 40s.

"Hey, baby come home with me. You look so sexy tonight" he tried gripping my waist before I slapped his hand away
"Get off me you fucking pedo!" I yelled, he just came closer to me and tried to fucking kiss me, I
The music was too loud for Cora to hear me.

Before I knew it he pinned me to the wall, at this point I didn't know what to do, I tried pulling him off but I was no match for his strength. "GET OFF ME!" I yelled once more.

"Come on, don't you wanna make babies together?" I was disgusted by that sentence. Men these days are so fucking gross .
I closed my eyes wishing I could go home, and the thought of getting raped right now made me sick. He was kissing my neck as I tried so hard to push him away. We were in the back of the building so I'm positive nobody would come and save me.

I heard footsteps as my eyes were closed, I just couldn't get myself to open them. I could hear fighting and punching but I was too damn scared to open them.

"God, Elena are you okay?" I opened my eyes to see Corbins hand on my shoulder looking worried.
I stumbled to the floor, i think I'm having a panic attack.
"Uh, I- I'm okay, t-thank you tho." My words came out stuttering. "Fuck, your shivering Elena. Come on let's go."
"Wait. How did you find me?" I asked fixing my dress. "Your location, you shared it with me. I was wondering why the fuck you were in the middle of nowhere . plus I was around the corner so I wanted to check it out-thank god I did, god knows what would've happened if I didn't show up." He said carrying me into his car.

"Wait- what about my friend, Cora-."

"Don't worry, my friend is taking care of her" he said as I stepped into his car, it smelled like him, I loved that smell.

"I'm taking you home Elena, don't go out so late in a random bar again, alright?"

I layed back and tried to explain "well, it was my friends, she hosted i-"
he interrupted me "I don't fucking care, don't wear something so revealing in public that you could get raped in."

I looked down to my dress, maybe it was a bit revealing - but he was right. I just wanted to go home at this moment.

But then again I couldn't fall for him. It just wasn't right. I sighed looking out the window. You okay?" He asked looking at me with those grey-brownish eyes.
"Yes I'm fine" I smiled at him. His hand curled around mine. And just like that we ended up holding hands the whole car ride.

At this moment I feel that I'm falling for this man.
