Chapter 6: That Girl Named His

I was left speechless and flustered cause of what he said. "What do you mean?" I asked in confusion.

"If you'd like I can take care of, uhm" Did he really forget my cat's name? "Snow!" He said while looking and smiling at Snow.

"Uhh, sure. I mean, he's lonely whenever I go to work anyways, you mostly work at home right?"

"Yeah, I'm more of a house person." He said with a straight face.

I left Snow with Kenji, he said he wanted to take care of Snow for free, so why not take advantage of that?

5 months passed, and Kenji has been a good pet sitter for 5 months now. Snow seems to like him more than Me!!

Skips-

My night shift is finally over, then one of my co-workers arrived, I can't leave this place, not until someone will arrive and offered to switch places with me at work.

I was about to leave, Felia (my co-worker) but I forgot about my bag so I went back and grabbed it. I took my cigarette out of my pocket and borrowed Felia's lighter.

I lit up my cigarette and left since I don't wanna be the reason why our fire alarms will turn on.

It made me able to relax. Since for some weird reason, smoke gives me satisfaction.

I was walking on my way to the bus stop since I didn't bother using my car, plus I'm too lazy to look for a parking spot.

Then all of a sudden a random guy looked at me. The random guy was leaning against a wall.

I had a strange feeling as if I knew the guy who was looking at me, so I stopped walking, and he stopped looking at me too.

He or she looked around and walked towards me they were wearing a white mask, a black cap, a grey long coat, with denim pants.

Since he or she had a mask on, I can barely recognize him or her, who knows?

They took their mask off and... disappeared?

"What are you doing here? Don't u normally walk to that alley?" He pointed to the alley where the weird person was leaning earlier.

My mind stopped processing for a while, I thought that person was going to harm me, good thing Kenji arrived.

Kenji suddenly flicked his fingers on my forehead.

"Hello?"

I got back to reality, I was too busy thinking about that creepy guy.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Kenji while I rubbed my flicked forehead.

"Waiting for you, dumbass."He ruffled my hair.

I checked at the alley where I saw the creepy dude, maybe they'll still be there. But they were gone. Like they just vanished into thin air.

I didn't mind it much so Kenji and I, both started walking on our way to the bus station.

"You didn't have to wait for me," I checked if the seats were dirty since they usually are. It wasn't, I sat down.

"But, I wanted to, " he sat down beside me and looked at me.

Ok, whatever, "Hey, wanna grab dinner?" Why the heck does he keep offering me food?

I Ain't complaining though.

We went to a restaurant and ordered some food to take home. After we got our order we went outside.

"Give me ur bag" he lent his free hand, "Why? Ur already carrying our meals" I pointed at our food.

"I don't want you to get tired." How nice of you, I liked him for a long time because of how he cared for me. "I don't want to, u carry the food, I carry my bag" My parents raised me as an independent woman, alright?

He stopped and looked at me, "No, u already look like a zombie"

Ok, I know that, but that's kinda mean.

We waited at the bus stop again for a while. We sat down and ate some appetizers.

-time skip-
The bus stopped beside us, we got in and dang, the bus is filled. Both of us tried to find a none-taken seat, we did but, it was all the way at the back of the bus.

There's only one seat left. Kenji quickly sat down, "Wow, what a gentleman of you!" I said sarcastically while smiling
Annoyed.

"Sit down on my lap"

Wha- wait what? Am I hearing things?
"What do u mean?" I looked at him confused. "Here, sit down" he tapped his lap and pulled me down to sit. I was so shy and embarrassed at the same time, I kept quiet. I also couldn't move the whole ride.

We were almost on our way to the apartment we both lived at, I was taking a glimpse outside the window when I suddenly felt something inside my ear.

I got flustered and hurriedly touched it to check if it was a bug. It was just a headphone...

It was Kenji's.

He suddenly played 2hrs by tobi lou.

I looked behind me, I met his eyes. He looked at me with his smiling eyes.
He also wore the other side of the headset.

He smiled at me and said: "Do you like it?" He said while fixing my headphones since one of them fell. I just nodded at what he said and continued to ignore him till we arrived at our stop.

-time skip-

We were about to go to our dorms, we passed by the lounge area where we met a girl I'd never seen before.

"Kenji! Baby!" What? Does Kenji have a girlfriend?! Just as I was starting to like him??? Yes, I finally admit it.

I do like Kenji Blythe Sevilla.

He makes me feel special, ok?? I know it's too early to like him but, I can't stop my feelings for him, ok? He keeps making me feel things.

Things I've never felt before.

Kenji seems to be surprised by his 'girlfriends' appearance.

I really wished the girl had just mistaken Kenji for his bf.

"Hey Ophelia," he said smiling at her. Then hugged her.

I guess I was wrong.
