surprisingly i actually managed to stick to the plan last night, after we had came back from the toilet i sat beside miles and lex took my place beside alex. we had stayed at the bar until almost 11 and i definitely noticed a change in alex, it pained me to give him the cold shoulder but i didn't want to be that girl. he'd tried a few times throughout the night to touch me, a slight graze of the hand, his knee touching mine, a gentle hand on my hip but i shrugged off every single one coming up with excuse after excuse.
on the other hand miles and lex had seemed to grow closer over a few drinks, they were up dancing together and even left for a smoke at the same time, suspicious but ship. me and lex had to split a taxi home as she was as drunk as me, leaving her car at the studio to pick up again in the morning. which reminded me that we had to go back to the studio and record more tomorrow, i was dreading it but happy to see alex again. even if he possibly has a girlfriend i see no harm in us being friends, and with lex and miles possibly getting closer we'll have to third wheel together at the studio.
i woke up about 20 minutes before me and lex was supposed to be leaving for the studio, i had the worse sore head imaginable and lex was sitting on my bed shaking me, "finally! are you coming today?"
i look at her still half asleep, "you woke me to ask that? no sorry." my head was spinning i needed some sleep even if it was for 20 minutes.
she smiles down at me pushing some hair out of my face, "it's fine! miles is picking me up in 5 so we can get coffee." i feel my whole body wake up.
i look at her mirroring her smile suddenly having a burst of energy to find out, "so.. are you two like-?" i ask,
she stands up walking toward my door, "no, not yet at least!" i awe sarcastically as she leaves the room, as i get up to go to the bathroom i debate what i would call my stan twitter ship account for them.
