I remembered that I last laid my head on something hard like a human chest but now, I felt something soft instead.

I opened my eyes gently. It's a pillow.

Not just that, I'm also lying flat on the king-size bed.

Like seriously, was I sleeping after sobbing?

Where the hell is Justin by the way?

I feed my eyes all over the room in search of him.

There was zero presence of him around.

A white clean duvet cover fabric protects my body. I pushed it aside as I sat upright properly.

My hair is a bit messy now. I flicked it behind and rubbed my eyes.

Though, his laptop is still on the little drawer beside the bed but he's not here.

Where did he go? And why didn't he wake me up to tell me he was gonna leave me all by myself in his room.

Wow.

Blow off my head.

Did I just say his room?

Now, I officially remember that I've been sleeping in Justin's bedroom. On his bed and cuddling onto his pillows.

Gosh.

I'm so dead when Jasmine comes to find out I'm in here. I swear she'll strangle me to death.

The thought of Jasmine tying a rope around my neck popped in my head and I quickly jumped out of the bed instantly.

I search for my slippers. As soon as I found it, I fit my feet in and head for the door whilst I tie my hair into a messy bun.

I think I forgot something.

My new phone.

Why I'm I getting obsessed by my new phone?

I hurried towards the bed to grab my phone. I tripped off my slippers and landed helplessly on the bed.

Ouch!

My hair spill over my face again.

Whilst I struggle to sit up and compose myself, the door opened and Ava walked in.

"Hi Mom." She beamed.

I hushed her immediately, "Someone can hear you."

I'm glad she remembered our deal.

Don't address me as your mother when other people are there.

She rolled her eyes, "Ugh, let them hear all I care."

I let out a sigh of relief after knowing it was just Ava and not Jasmine.

I finally got hold of my phone and stood up. "Where's your sister?"

Ava shut the door and sat on the bedside. "She went shopping with her boyfriend, Cole."

I nod my head as I approach the door. "I have to leave now. It's noon already. If I don't go home now, I might end up arriving late."

Ava stood up to me with eyes widened like she just had a terrible nightmare. "Like now?"

I gave her a weird look.

"Yeah....like now." I repeated my words.

I saw the downcasted expression in her eyes. Her brows curled downwards as she slump on the bed again.

I sighed and approached her. "Is everything alright?"

She shook her head and looked up at me, "What do you expect? Ever since Aria and I found you, you never had time for us."
