Bringing back the past

I roam about the place, busy searching for my way out. I should be out of this place by now.

I said I wanna clear my head but with the look of the surroundings now, it's like everywhere is just a beginning without an end.

I've never been to this part of the mansion before. The whole place is indeed extra large and massive.

Via the mansion too.

I brush my fingers on the flowers as I walk by, slowly.

The wind is so cool on my skin. This place is likely better to clear one's head rather than going back to that oven called my home.

What says the time now?

I haven't received a call from my son, Bernard.

Has he received the parcel yet?

Well, it'd take some time for packages to arrive in the states.

Due to the long distance.

Though, I was planning on shipping his request. Flights cargos do charge alot and I know my bank account doesn't carry such heavy weight of money.

All thanks to Justin who appeared and made it simpler.

As I didn't expected, my phone rings.

I looked at the phone's screen.

An unknown number?

How do they use this iOS device anyway? It's gesturing me on the swipe to take for answering.

It's been a long time since I last used an Android talk much of an iphone I've never used once in my life.

I took a deep breath as I pick the call.

Still not knowing who the caller is.

"Hello–"

Mia squealed from the other side of the call. "Baby girl, what's up?"

I had to close my ears with my hand as I pull the phone few metres away from myself.

Geez.

You gat to calm down, M.

"Any good shows?" I finally asked her, rolling my eyes.

"Good shows? I thought you were gonna go first with the romantic gist." She said.

I frowned, looking at my side if anyone's here. Maybe to show me my way out. "Romantic gist? What gist?"

She sighed. "Oh Mabel, I don't need anyone to tell me where you're right now. Remember you told me you were going to Justin's place last night and–"

"He was the one who came to pick me up." I quickly corrected her statements. "I have no idea where his place is located yet, I find myself here."

"Listen girl, just for the record, shower me with what happened at his place last night."

Mia is really pulling my legs, right?

She's has no idea what has happened today and how devastated I am right now.

"M," I called her. Sighing tiredly, "You won't believe who I bumped into today. I think I woke up to have a really bad day."

Mia is so eager to know who it was. She asked, "Who? Come on, throw it up. Spill the beans, I'm all ears."

I began on my tracks again, plucking a flower from the branch. I smelled it and said, "Jasmine Snyder."

When Mia groaned, I sighed. "I obviously forgot she was gonna be here before coming."
