Characters: Lee!Wednesday, Ler!Y/n(Fem), Thing
New idea! Here we go!
Also btw, reader has a crush on Wednesday.
———
Y/n bounded into her dorm, bursting through the door and hopping onto one of her roommates' beds. She flopped onto her back, grinning up at the ceiling.
Said roommate was at her typewriting desk, and glanced over at Y/n. "You look like you're having fun. Is a bloodthirsty mob chasing you? I'd love to join."
"No, I wasn't being chased, Wednesday. Sorry, no pitchforks and torches." Y/n rolled her eyes, shifting to her side to stare back at those dead eyes. "Just had an awesome training session, and I'm still full of energy and stuff. I beat everyone! Except BB."
"I don't understand why you're good friends with that self-appointed Queen Bee. But I suppose you should keep your friends close and enemies closer. Although, I prefer to eliminate my enemies."
Y/n tsked. "Bianca's not so bad once you get to know her. She's got some stuff she buries deep down."
Wednesday didn't respond as she continued typing her novel.
"Ah, I should've known I wouldn't have your attention for long. It's typey time."
"My writing hour." The goth corrected, lost in her thoughts.
Y/n sighed, observing her roommate. She drifted into her own musings, wondering about Wednesday. She's never seen her laugh. Or smile. Or even just look relaxed and happy. Y/n focused back on Wednesday, studying her expression. As always, it was neutral as ever, just with extra concentrating wrinkles from typing.
'She should smile more. I bet it would be amazing.' Y/n pondered, trying to imagine a happy Wednesday. Nope. Impossible, she figured.
But she couldn't accept that. No, this was a challenge to be conquered. She would make Wednesday smile. Laugh, too. If she could.
Y/n watched her roommate with newfound determination, thinking up ways to make someone happy.
'Let's see... to put a smile on someone's face...' She was mulling over her options. 'Tell jokes? Nope, random jokes aren't that funny. And Wednesday doesn't even like jokes, and her sadistic ones are hard to spot. She doesn't laugh from them either. Hmm... hurting myself? Everyone loves watching funny videos of people injuring themselves, even better when it's in person. Maybe, but...'
While she contemplated, Thing scurried across the floor, coming over to say hello. He swiftly crawled up her leg, causing Y/n to jump and suppress a couple quiet laughs at the contact.
"Thing! Don't! You skittering up me like that... tickles." It was as if a light bulb went off in her head. That was the solution to her problem!
Tickling.
'But wait. This is Wednesday Addams we're talking about. She probably trained herself out of being ticklish or something.' Y/n frowned.
Still. Worth a try though, right?
So Y/n patted Thing and helped him off her lap onto the bed, thanking him before striding over to her roommate. She was practically buzzing with excitement, hoping this would work.
She crept up behind Wednesday, glad the writer was too focused to notice. The grin on Y/n's face would've given away everything.
She hesitated. 'Is this really a good idea?'
