The car ride to the concert wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be. Thankfully the power of One Direction somehow united the four of us and resulted in all of us serenading each other, harmonizing and vocalizing the classic "What Makes You Beautiful".

"NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA," Jonah sings.

Ophelia belts out the last, "NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA, NA!"

"Sing it, Jonah!" Hugo says, looking at his best friend through the rearview mirror.

"Baby, you light up my world like nobody else. The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed. But when you smile at the ground, it ain't hard to tell," Jonah effortlessly and beautifully choruses.

While he's singing, I look at Fi through the rearview mirror, catching her eye. She isn't looking back at me. Instead, she was watching Jonah with heart eyes. It's so clear how much she likes him. It's so cute!

"We're here," Hugo announces, and I turn my attention to the outdoor mall. You can really spot where the concert is held at. Several beams of colorful lights emits from the location along with the screams of the audience.

Jonah groans. "Oh, come on, man, let me finish the song though."

Abruptly, James throws himself against the window on Fi's side, "BOO!"

"OH MY FROCK," Ophelia shrieks, jumping backwards with her back against Jonah's chest.

James points and laughs. "Haha, you said 'frock'."

Fi grumbles and opens her door, purposefully trying to hit and knock over her brother. "Ugh, you bonehead."

Suddenly, my door opens, and Hugo stands to the side so that I can get out.

"Oh, sorry," I tell him, getting out of his car.

"It's okay," he jokes, winking, "I can tell you're just so in love with Lorelai."

I raise my eyebrows. "You named your Jeep Wrangler Lorelai?"

"Yeah," he says, shrugging, "after the icon in Gilmore Girls. 'Cause you know how in the show Lorelai Gilmore has a Jeep Wrangler, too. So . . ."

"Yeah, I know," I say, nodding and beaming. "I've seen the show.

His eyes light up "Really?"

"Mhm. You're actually the first guy I've met who actually watched it," I tell him.

"It's the only TV show I've seen and really, really liked," Hugo says as we walk together behind the group. "I'm more of a movie guy."

I raise my eyebrows. "Really?"

He bobs his head.

"What kind of movies? Like, The Dark Knight, or something?"

He laughs. Like, actually laughs and throws his head back. "No. Though I do like Christian Bale in that one. And Heath Ledger."

"I love Heath Ledger especially in 10 Things I Hate About You," I comment, watching my feet move.

"You're a rom-com type of girl?" he guesses, sneaking a glance at me.

"No, Fi's the rom-com girl. I do like them though. I love 90s or early 2000s movies. Something about them just hits different," I lift my gaze to much our friends walk ahead of us. "What's your favorite movie?"

He gives it some thought. "Hmm. La La Land."

I raise my brows again as I look at him. "Wow."

He grins, connecting his eyes with mine. "What?"
