I leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes trying to stretch the school bell rang an hour ago but I was still here grading work.

I decided I needed a coffee break and went to the office we're I saw our receptionist Naomi and a student from my class . His name was lupin dazai and he had bright brown eyes that looked almost gold and curly brown hair.

"Kunikida I'm glad your here . Lupins father is running late to pick him up and I need to go home so do you think you can watch him till his dad gets here"?

I nodded and she left.

I looked over at lupin who was reading a book and sat next to him.

Lupin was the smartest student in my class but he was also the quietest. I think I might have herd him speak once but even then I don't know if it really happened. I might have imagined it.

"Cool book you've got there" I said looking at the cover. "It looks a bit advanced for someone your age so it's cool that you can read it".

Lupin looked up at me and nodded then looked back down at his book.

Normalize I like the quiet but right now it's just awkward . I've never had something like this happen were a parent didn't pick there child up. Whoever this father is is getting a pice of my mind when he gets here.

"Is it your father or your mother picking you up"? I asked him and he looked at me and blinked.

He fucking blinked.

I can't understand blinks.

"Sorry is it your mother picking you up".

He shook his head no.

"Then it's your father "?

He nodded.

"Good to know".

And back to silence.

We sat in more silence for a few minutes till I herd a small voice.

"My mommy left".

My eyes blown wide as I looked at lupin as he sat with his book on his lap.

"Excuse me"?

"I said my mommy left. She did when I was little. My mommy and daddy didn't love each other and she didn't love me. I have no mommy".

My heart broke at those words. He was looking at his lap when he said all of this so he is obviously upset about this but I don't want him to feel like I don't care.

"Why didn't your mom and dad love each other"?

"They were really young when they had me. Daddy is 27 so he was around 15 or 16 when mommy had me but she is older then him so she was around17 or 18. Daddy said they were young and dumb so he made dumb mistakes. He also said he doesn't like woman anymore so I think that helped to".

His father was 15 or 16 when he had lupin?! He was really young and dumb.

I myself am 27 as well and I haven't even lost my virginity yet. I feel bad for lupin and his father but there is nothing I can do to help. It's not my place.

"I'm sorry they fell out of love".

"It's ok mommy was mean to me anyway".

"Mean how"?

"She didn't like when I talked so she would slap my mouth and sometimes taped it shut when daddy wasn't around. When daddy found out he yelled at him and she slapped him but he didn't hit her back insted he grabbed me and we stayed the night at grandma kouyous house with uncle chuuya".
