We head inside then the gate close. We were not sure what to do, we just kept walking then someone spoke behind us, "Welcome chosen youngsters! I, Mr. Hilver welcome you to our school, Chosen Academy. You can call me Mr. Hill, I'll be one of your professors." he said like he is expecting us to come.
"No way, there must be a mistake, sir, we are here to ask for help, not to study in your school," Vince said.
"Oh young man, there is no mistake. You're enrolled in this school and stay for 2 years," he replied.
"2 years?!" I said, then Milee continue and said, "it can't be 2 years, besides, we didn't sign for this. Our parents will be worried, I'm sure they are already looking for us since we didn't contact them when we arrived."
"Yeah, Milee is right. I'm sure uncle is now looking for us because we're still not on his island." I said.
"Like I said there is no mistake Ms. Hailey." Mr. Hill said.
"How did you know my sister's name?" Vince asked and went beside me like a protective brother because he is confused about the situation. Vince is not the only one who's confused, all of us are.
"Look around you." Mr. Hill said and continue, "almost everyone is also confused, all normal humans are confused as to why they are here. All of the students here are chosen, you don't choose schools, but this school is the one that chooses its students. It only chooses the special ones, and you are one of those. Now, we can chitchat later, but right now all should gather in the main hall for the announcement. Follow me."
We followed him as he said, we entered a building and straight to the main hall as Mr. Hill have mentioned. There are several chairs in an area that looks like a stadium, but not all chairs are filled. There are plenty of students, but we realize that not all of them are human.
One of them spoke, the one who can fly, with red eyes, dark lips, pale face, and quite furry said, "when are we heading to our dorms, I'm sure almost everyone is tired from the journey that we had, especially that storm that lead us here."
"Storm? That storm was because of this school?!" I shouted, "That storm almost killed us, my brother and my friend got injured because of that stupid storm of yours!" I continued.
"That storm is the barrier, if it doesn't like you, you'll be gone. But since you're here that means you're supposed to be. Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the Chosen Academy, where you can learn not just the things you learn from normal schools like normal humans. As you can see there are different kinds in this school, there are the chosen special humans from the world of humanity, the werewolves from the red full moon forest, the echidnas from the sacred stone temple, half vampires that can tolerate the sunlight, and many more kinds that are chosen to be trained by us." said by one of the professors I believe that is sitting from one of the chairs I mentioned earlier.
"You'll stay here at this for 2 years, those who passed are free to do anything they wanted, and those who failed, well they have different fate that you'll see for yourselves, if I were you, I wouldn't want to know so I'll rather pass. The dormitories are ready, get yourself ready because your first day of learning will start...Tomorrow." said the lady around 36-40 years old.
Then after that, there are assistants that carried the bags and lead us to our assigned dorms. Obviously, girls are separated from boys so we decided to meet up later once we are settled. We found our dorms, decided on our beds and they gave us the papers that will guide us throughout our first day.
