Confession time: Jeremy

"uuugghh!" u said to yourself as you walked through the doors of the pizzeria. You had gone through a pretty tough week because boss had given you extra shifts because of Jeremy who had suddenly not turned up to work as often, which then you had to take his shifts for you didn't want him getting fired. "He better turn up to work tonight." U said as you walked into the office. When you entered the office, you could see Jeremy in the office already, but he wasn't his usual self. You could see that he was more alerted, like he was worried, and he had a bright red blush across his face. "Uuuuhh... u ok, Jere?" u said to him. He looked at you but as soon as he did, he shot his look straight back to the floor.

 "Y-y-yeah...i-im f-fine" he said. When you were about to say something to him, he grabbed a boutique of flowers from behind his back and placed it on the desk, in front of you, before rushing out of the room. You had no idea what had just happened. You franticly looked at your watch to check the time, "11:45, phew" u said to yourself as you picked up the flowers. You were worried about Jere for he recklessly ran out of the room, not knowing if the shift started or not, but for him to do that he would've been very nervous, but why? You were adoring the flowers until u spotted a little note attached to the boutique. "What's this?" u said as u pulled it off and started reading it.

Dear, Y/n

Sorry about not coming to work when I needed to and thank you for taking my shifts as well. (Mike told me). The reason why I was away from work was because I was trying to build up the courage to tell a certain person something important...Y/n, I like u very much, more then like, love. So, I was wondering would you like to be my girlfriend?

When you finished reading, u looked up from the note to see Jeremy peeping into the room, he quickly hid behind the wall. "Jere, I know you're out there, you can talk to me, and I want to ask u something, too" u said looking at the door of the office. "o-okay" he said as he entered the room and sat down. "Jeremy, I-" "I k-know y-you p-p-probably d-don't l-like m-me, I understand." "No that's not what I was gonna say, what I was gonna say is that I too, like you and I was kinda surprised that you liked me back too, because I'm totally different from you." U said as you looked at Jeremy. "S-so does th-that mean th-that y-you like m-me back?" said Jere. "Yes Jeremy, I to like you back, and of course you can be my boyfriend." "R-really?!" Jere said as he snapped his expression from worried to relieved in 2 seconds. He then pulled you into a big comforting hug, with it being a little too tight, but that was alright with you.

 "Y/n I love you because your so special and unique in your own way, and your so brave, u let nothing scare you, and when times are tough for me or the others you try to help in any way you can, and your very, very pretty. You make me feel loved and that there's a reason why I should still stay, because I want to be here for you and love you." he said. You were really surprised at the fact that he didn't stutter, not even once. Which meant what he was saying was really the truth. "Oh, t-thank you, Jere. I love you as well because it's amazing how you can express yourself for who you are and not be ashamed by it, and you too are special in your own way, and your very adorable and cute, as well. Jeremy, I love you for who you are, I could never ask for anything more perfect than you." U said as you hugged him back.

 You both were still hugging each other until the chime for the shift to start went off. As you both pulled from the hug, Jere snuck a peck on your cheek before he quickly turned away and started looking at the tablet. You were then left surprised and in a blushing mess, "oh jere" u said in your head. When the shift finished you both left, but before you got into your car, you could hear Jeremy calling out your name. "Y/n! w-wait up!" he said as he caught up to you. "What's up Jere" u said. "I j-just wanted t-to say t-that....m-maybe you'd w-want to go out t-to s-somewhere t-today" he said as he fiddled with his thumbs. You could see that he was very shy for even just coming up to you. "So as in a date?" u said. "y-y-yeah" he said.

 "of course, I'd love too" u said as you grabbed his hands. "Oh, and thanks for the flowers, that was really sweet of you" u said. "o-oh t-they w-were n-nothing I-I could of d-done b-better-". "Jere, there perfect, just like you." U said, as you gave him a kiss on his cheek. "y-y/n!" he said as he hid his face in his hands, to hide his face full of blush, making you giggle. "Well, I better get home then" u said as u pulled him into a hug as he still hid his face. "Oh y-yeah, me t-too" he said as he hugged you back. "See y-you l-later y/n" he said as he started walking back to his car. "You too, Jere!" u said as you got into your car. You placed the flowers onto the passenger seat and left. You finally knew why he had not turned up to work as often, he feared telling you that he liked you, but after tonight you both got what youse wanted and were happy about it.
