Confession time: Mike

"Hey what's up my ma-" "Shut up!!" Mike said as he yelled at you. "uuuhhh ok then." You said as you sat down in one of the office chairs. For the past week you had been trying to cheer mike up, but whatever you did, he didn't budge from his grumpy attitude, not even taunting foxy was cheering him up, whatever it was, it was really leaving him in the dumps, and you had no clue what it was. When the shift finished, you were about to say see ya to him, but he barged right past you before you could say anything. "Ouch!" u said in your head. When you got home you couldn't stop thinking about mike, what was bugging him? Did I do something wrong? Why can't he just tell me. These thoughts were roaming your mind like crazy. You then decided to call your mum to see if she could help you. It took you three calls before she picked up. "Hey, mum" you said. "Oh, hey, y/n what's up, dear" she said.

Y/n: "I kinda, uh, need your help with something"

Mum: Ok then, what's seems to be the problem"

Y/n: "You see, my friend, Mike-"

Mum: oh him! yes, he's a very kind man, *gasp!* are youse together.

y/n: MUM!... *sigh* no, it's just... he's been grumpy lately, like, we were best friends and then he just, suddenly ignores me. I've been trying to make him feel better for a week now, but nothing seems to be working, so I called you to see if you could give me any ideas on what to do.

Mum: hhhmmm...Well, with your father, if he's down I keep trying to help him until he's ready to finally tell me what's wrong, if you wait and don't stop, they'll eventually come around.

Mum: That's alright, anything to help. But seriously though, you two would make such a cute couple!

y/n: MUM! Oh my gosh!, can you just not.

Mum: ha ha ha, ok, ok I'll stop. Ok, well I have to go now, talk to you later, ok

y/n: ok, see ya, love you

You then hung up, and looked at the time. "Just enough time to get ready for work" You said as you started getting ready for work. This time you were gonna make him feel better, even if it meant getting yelled or ignored by Mike. When you entered the office you could see that he was fiddling with his hat in his hands and looking to the ground. When he looked up at you, he quickly turned his head away. Enough was enough.

 "Look! Whatever it is, I want to help you with it, ok, you just keep ignoring me when I try to talk to you, or you just be up right rude, when I do!! So what is it?!" you said at mike. But instead of ignoring you or saying something mean, he walked up to you and pinned you to the wall. "uuuhh, Mike what are you doing!?" you said as you felt your face heat up. "Look, im sorry, ok, for ignoring you and everything I was just nervous, about something... and that something was...that I like you, y/n." He said as he put his arm down.

 For a couple of seconds you were lost in what he just said, he liked you?! That's why he was being mean and ignoring you, because he was scared of rejection, now the question was, did you like him back? When you snapped back to reality, you could see that mike was still standing in front of you, waiting for an answer. "i...i..-", "It's ok if you don't like me back, I guess" he said as he turned around to go back and sit down. "No! wait!" you said as you grabbed his wrist. "I...I like you too!" you said as you pulled him into a hug, by surprise. "Mike, I like you too, because your not like other people, you get me, and you're the kindest guy I know, I know you can be a pain in the butt at time's, but that's you and I wouldn't ask for anyone better then you." You said as you hugged him tighter. He then pat you on the back, and hugged you back.

 In the moment you felt so good to be in his arm's, you were overwhelmed by a warm feeling that was now flowing through your body, u loved Mike, but had no idea, until now. "So if you feel, the same way about me...do you wanna..bemyugrluiufroiend." You were confused at what he was saying because he was murmuring. "What did you say?" u said, as you both broke from the hug. "I said...do you wanna..be my...GIRLFRIEND!" he said, as he shouted the last bit. "Oh! Sorry, I d-didn't mean to, I was ju-". "Of course, Mike! I'll be your girlfriend" you said as you blushed, and with that he gave the air some punches, before picking you up by the waist and hugging you. "Mike!" you shouted as you started laughing. Then for the rest of the night, you both worked through the night with non- stop fun, before heading back home after your shift. "I guess mum was right after all" you said, to yourself as you started driving back home.
