Confession time: Scott

Today at work Scott was acting weird not like his normal self, every time I went over to talk to him, he avoided me, and I ended up talking to one of the other guards instead, he didn't even glance at me not once today, it was like I was suddenly a sickness to him or something. Eventually when night shift came around, he was already in the office, which was strange, because it was me first then him. I decided to just leave him be, maybe he'll talk to me when he's ready. You were very eager to know what the problem was, when you took sneak glances at him, you could see that he was fiddling with his thumbs and that he was looking at the ground.

 Was he...nervous? You thought to yourself. After half an hour he finally said something to you. "Hey y/n, sorry for avoiding you all day, I just needed some space you know" he said while still looking at the ground. "Hey, it's ok, but if there is something that's bothering you, you know you can talk to me about it, if you want. I'm here for you ok" you said while holding his shoulder. "Yeah" he said. He still looked at the ground, while rubbing the back of his neck "yeah...about today....i was thinking about someone....and I...i.." he then stopped and looked at you with a blush forming across his face. "I...I wasn't sure how to tell them...how i.. liked them." He said.

 "oh, so that's what it was, ok then well, I haven't been in a relationship before, but I have a feeling that you should just tell them, it's better to do it now then be too late" u said while smiling. "Well...y/n.... I've liked you for some time now and I can't go another day without thinking of you, y/n.... your so kind and beautiful, I love you very much...and I was wondering....... Do you want to be my girlfriend?" he said, now looking at you with a face full of blush. You were stunned at what he had just said to you, and with that a blush formed on your face.

 "Well...i...I" u said as you were thinking of what to say next. When you looked at Scott you could see that he was eager of what your answer was going to be. "I" you then took a deep breath, before exhaling. "I've liked you for a long time as well, and I wasn't sure when to tell you, because I was scared of what you might say, but it looks like you already beat me to that, so yes Scott, I'll be your girlfriend" you said. Scott then excitedly pulled you into a hug. "I love you, y/n" he said. "I love you too, Scottie" you said as you hugged back.
