-On the beach, a family could be seen, dismounting their mountain ikrans. They seemed tired, lost, almost like grieving ? Why ? She didn't knew, but on their ilus, Leyra and Tsireya went to go closer dismounting their ilus too, catching the attention of one of the young boys of their little group.
Going underwater, both of the cyan girls swam towards the group forming around the family. Soon enough, they swam up to the surface, Tsireya throwing her hair over her shoulder.
Leyra got out of the water after her, not missing the boy looking at her best friend with surprised eyes. Grinning, Leyra slowly turned her gaze towards Tsireya with a grin, seeing a girl, that seemed to be under the effect of the same boy that looked at her.Tsireya finally turned her gaze towards Leyra, only to see her with a smug face, quickly making silly faces to her, making Tsireya laugh and push her a little. Continuing to walk towards the group, they saw Aonung and Rotxo mocking the younger ones.
« It's too small ! How's this supposed to swim ? »
Rotxo, a real genius if you asked Leyra. Aonung and him were making fun of the tails of the boys, fortunately Tsireya and Leyra went closer to them and the former hitting them with her hand
« Rotxo, Aonung »
This time, it was Leyra's voice that joined her friend, watching their face go from proud to full of guilt. Sighing, Tsireya turned around while Leyra continued to chastise both of the boys. But she didn't miss the boy from earlier greeting her best friend, obviously her giggling at the boy's greeting.
But soon enough, a group of three tsurak came, the father of Aonung and Tsireya on the first one, spear in hand and passing above the large group that formed around the family. Landing in water, Tonowari came out of it and calmly walked toward the centre of the group, greeting the father by his rank, Olo'eyktan. They both did the greeting gesture and Tonowari soon added the name of the male, Jake Sully.
On this, the ears of Leyra perked up, her father had told her the stories of Toruk Makto, and his mighty fight to protect his land. A little excited, she almost missed the rest of the family greeting the chief as she grabbed the arm of Tsireya.
« Rey, he's the Na'vi father told me about. The one that fought for his people »
Her excitement was short lived as Ronal arrived, calculating gaze watching the newcomers.
« I see you Ronal, Tsahìk of the Metkayina »
His mate soon followed his greeting, Ronal staring at them up and down, while Tonowari was asking why did they come to them.
« We seek Uturu »
« Uturu ? » Said Ronal as she looked at Tonowari in disbelief, but Jake Sully continued
« A sanctuary for my family »
Tonowari seemed to lean a little towards his mate, as his he wanted to prevent her to refuse them while she walked towards the family.
« We are reef people. You are forest people ! Your skills will mean nothing here »
« We will learn your ways, alright ? »
While the mate approved what Toruk Makto said, Ronal continued to circle around the children, assessing them, looking at them up and down, taking their arms.
« Their arms are thin, their tails are weak. You will be slow in the water. »
Ronal seemed to be against the idea of them staying. Leyra did not understand, they asked for uturu, and that's all. If they are desperate enough to travel all the way here, it means they really want to flee something..
