Epilogue Part II

Graduation was bomb af. Everybody was nervous and shit but not me. Not Ms. Stella Diamond Smith I was ready for it to be over and done with. After everybody got they diploma and we sang break away by Kelly Clarkson, Karlie gave this bad ass valedictorian speech, we all cried a little then i was out!

After the ceremony everybody wanted to go out and leave but not me. I congratulated everyone and said my goodbyes cuz a nigga was ready to leave.

I had everything packed already all I had to do was go home get my stuff and leave. Of course Dylan and James were waiting for me when I got there. They help me out my bags in the car and hugged me good bye.

"You are the most beautiful and smartest daughter a man could ever ask for. And I know I'm not your real dad but it sure do feel that way. I've never been more proud of someone ever in my life-"

(GCO by James) "oh word pops I see how it is. You don hurt my feelings man" James said fake crying

"Oh shut up. I love you both. And Diamond just know your mom is proud of you, everybody is proud of you but I'm the proudest"

"Awe Dylan. I love you too. And don't ever say you're not my real dad. Just because you're weren't there from the get go doesn't mean you're not. You've loved me and helped me through some much. And you've excepted me into your family and treat me no different than you treat James. Even though we all know I'm wayyyyy cuter-"

"You would've thought girl have you seen me" James said pointing to himself

"Yea I have and you aint that cute you look dusty"

"Ohhh girl square up hoe. Square the fuck up you bout to get that ass beat today hunt-ty okaiii"

"You feeling froggy then jump" I step to him and he ran behind Dylan and hid "thought so punk"

"Whatever you just lucky my dad holding me back"

"Anyways" I said laughing "I wanna thank you for that because honestly I really don't know what I would do without you guys. I really do love you guys and I promise to visit whenever I can"

"Pinky promise" Dylan said holding out his gigantic pinky

"Pinky promise " i said hooking my finger with his. He pulled me into a loving hug and I could feel him crying.
It was a really awesome moment until James interpreted.

"Hey what bout me. Jamesy needs some love too"

"Awe come here" I said pulling him into the hug.

"I wish your mom was here to be apart of this" Dylan said wiping his tears

"Yeah me too Dylan me too"

After all that emotional goodbye I got in and started the car.

"Be careful Di okay. Remember I love you honey"

"I love you too... Dad"

Dylan broke out smiling

"You know that's the first time you've called me dad.... I like it"

"Yeah... Me too"

"Be safe"

"Yeah diamond be safe and if any of them boys giving you trouble call me I'll Kung Foo Panda they ass you hear me" James said

"Yeah I hear you. Love you"

"Love you too sis" he kissed my forehead and I pulled.

I saw them in my mirror waving I waved until I couldn't see them again and sighed.
