Okay, calm down. It'll go well. It'll be... alright. Just deep breaths. Deep breaths. Everything is in place, Ad and Ler insisted on doing their things, and it was informed, in writing, beforehand. Neva also promised to partake and this'll be... fine. All I have to do is use a bit of mana, and create light waves through the diamond.
...
And not trip on my own feet. Yes. Do not trip on your own feet. Solara inhaled, looking at her hand.
I am shaking god dammit. Okay. Okay. Deep breaths.
She closed her eyes for a while, trying to just concentrate on calming her racing heart. Her stomach was twisting, and occasional tremors passed through her. It was as if dozens upon dozens of butterflies would have been swirling within her, bumping against the linings of her lungs, and a couple of them travelling to her arms and legs, just trying to get out. The soft, yet raging, flutter of wings, was a sensation that would always make a smile to rise to her lips. A smile that she couldn't shake away. Not that she wanted to.
Because, in just a few moments, she'd be getting married.
Her eyes opened to look at the bouquet in her hand. Heliotropes and roses arrange carefully into a cascading form, and a few specks of golden paint glittering around the petals. And just at the point where the bouquet ended, the colour of her dress changed. The white surface of it ceased to be, as the fabric continued first as yellow, then orange, and finally red, making it appear as if the hem was aflame.
I hope that he likes it... She gazed up, blinking, and trying to push any uncertainty she might have had away. Because, even if she had had uncertainties about the dress, it was too late to turn around and choose another one.
It was too late to turn back. Not that she wanted to. Not really anyways.
He better like it... She squeezed her eyes shut. By the gods... couldn't I just-, couldn't we just... He better say yes... The thought was amusing, because there was no reason for him to refuse from marrying her. Not that she could think of at least.
If he says 'no' he's not going to hear the end of it... Her nerves felt as if snapping.
This is the most nervous I've ever been... I think. God dammit! It's not supposed to be so difficult. Just... go out there, and walk a small distance, cast a little magic and say some vows and... that'll be it. Aside of the reception which'll
"[Lara?]" Ad peeked around the corner.
"[Yeah?]" She glanced at him. Blinking.
"[Ready?]"
She took a deep breath. Just a few seconds to herself. "[As ready as I'll ever be.]"
He gave her a smile, and a sympathetic gaze. "[You'll do great. Your parents are seated, along with your friends. Mrs. Indomita is standing in the side lines, and... you know who is... present. And no, the groom hasn't run away.]" He joked, giving her a smirk.
"[You have my permission to tackle him if he tries,]" she sounded more serious than she intended. Which made Adlai pause for a moment.
"[Hey... Lara,]" he stepped around the corner, closer to her. "[He's not going to do that. Actually, I bet that, as we're talking, and falling a little bit behind schedule, he's worried that you are having a change of heart.]" He tried. "[Because he's waiting. Out there,]" he nodded towards the doorway. "[All you have to do, is walk out there.]"
"[But it's-, ..]" her head swayed from side to side, making a slight bouncing movement, as if to shake off some of the nervousness. "[What if he doesn't?]"
