Hazels POV:

I stood in my room practicing my electric guitar. You see before my dad died he and my uncle taught me too play the guitar but then he had died from a plane crash and I continued to learn guitar and then my neighbor knew how to play the electric guitar so he taught me. I'm actually starting to teach my brother because he got a guitar for his birthday a couple months ago. My twin sister Autumn doesn't play anything. She says that she could never learn. My older brother plays the trumpet. He says he loves it and that he thinks that I would love it if I wanted to try. I think i'm going to try it because it sounds fun. My dad is the one who got me into music in the first place but ever since he had died i've been losing it like I would get into fights and I would get expelled. My mom always told me that he always thought of me as a snowflake he wanted to name me crystal. I don't know why I was named Hazel. I've never liked my name but people always say that it reminds them of the color. Also my mark that my soulmate and I share is on my shoulder and it's a thumbprint heart.

I just finished practicing and I walked downstairs in the living room. "ugh finally she's done Playing. Her playing is so annoying" my twin sister said "shut up autumn maybe if you played instead of being arrogant people would like you" I said "HAZEL" my mom said"what it's only the truth" I said "it's ok mom at least I'm not like you" Autumn said "what is that supposed to mean" I said "I mean are you ever nice to other people. It's like when dad died you've never worried about anyone but yourself" she said. She knows not to bring up dad in conversations around me and I also worry more about other people more than I worry about myself. "ok first of all never bring dad into this he never did anything to you, you know i'm sensitive about that and second of all I worry about everyone else but myself, it's like you guys never notice what goes on in my room" I said mom walked out of the room not wanting to deal with this. Autumn just sat there dumbfounded like she had made a mistake. "whatever" I said. I got up and walked away like nothing happened. "what is she to say I never care about anyone" I mumbled. I walked upstairs to my room and got my shoes on and got a sweatshirt on. I packed a bag to stay at my best friend's house. she always helps me if I get into a fight with my twin. Autumn and I always get into fights but they never get violent. I was thinking about punching her but I just got out of there before I could do anything. I used to never get into fights but now I get into them all the time. The school principal knows me too well. My mom is thinking of putting me in a school where you control your behavior. I don't think she's going to make me go though because she can't lose another person. I heard my mom if I could even call her that, Autumn is her favorite child. I know it sounds like i'm being selfish but it's all true.Right now I am walking to mia's house I would drive there but I don't have my license I get my permit next year though so I am excited for that. It's a pretty far walk to her house and I usually go on walks or run this time anyway it's pretty fun going on walks and running while listening to music.

A COUPLE HOURS LATER:

I just made it to mia's house . I just walked right in without knocking because we're best friends and her parents love me. I'm like their child. Mia doesn't just think of me as a best friend she thinks of me as a sister. I think of mia as a sister as well. Mia's brother has a little crush on me but he is far too young for me he's 12 years old. My "mom" Mia's mom once told me to come over any time I wanted or needed to. Today was that day I just needed to get out of the house. "ay yo i'm here Mia" I yelled cause I knew her mom was at her brother's house because he is very sick and she's helping him. I walked up the stairs to Mia's room. I walked in and she got up so fast and hugged me. "I missed you Haz" she said that was her nickname for me. My nickname for her is M because we were young when we came up with it. "I missed you too M but we saw each other yesterday" I said "it feels like it's been forever" she said "true! So what should we do now that I'm here" I asked " I was thinking that we invite Liam and have a sleepover" she said. "that's a great idea I just really needed to get away from Autumn for a while" I said "oh it happened again" she said "yeah she just never gets it does. Oh and she also brought up our dad" I said "that's messed up" she said "yeah it is so let's call Matt and get him over here" I said then she just smirks "ok let's do it" she said. I pulled out my phone and called Matthew's number. Matt picked up. "Hey what's Hazel" Liam said "nothing Mia and I were wondering if you wanted to have sleepover at Mia's house" I said "yeah sure just let me pack and I'll start heading over there" he said "ok I'll see you in 20 minutes" I said "see you then" he said we then hung up. "So we should get stuff set up" I said "yeah" she said

                TEN MINUTES LATER:

               After ten minutes we just finished cleaning and getting set up for the sleepover. "Let's watch Netflix while we wait for Liam" I said "what should we watch though." Mia said "we can't watch teen wolf without Liam so let's watch ginny and Georgia" I said "yes I love that show" she said we then got popcorn and started watching tv. After like ten minutes of watching tv Liam walks in, puts his bags on the table, and jumps on the couch. "So what are we watching" Liam said "ginny and Georgia" I said "ooh I love that show" he said "I know right it's a great show" Mia said Liam then grabbed a handful of popcorn out of my bowl. "Hey Mia I'm going to your room to put my bags in the house" he said "ok wait for us we're coming" Mia said getting with me following her. we have this little house well not so little it's about the same size as a normal house did I mention that Mia lives in a mansion so the house outside is what we use for when we have sleepovers and one we're all going to move into it it has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two living rooms and one kitchen. It's got everything that we need. So Mia's parents are rich. People would say I'm just using Mia for her money but I don't care about that neither does Liam we've all been friends since we toddlers. My dad was friends with Mia's dad. We were walking to our house and I went to my room to get my stuff set up. We all have our own rooms. This is my room.
