( CHAPTER 1 )
( Year 2012 )Laughter from children who're playing near the water of a sandy beach alarmed nearby seagulls and fisherman's, during a perfect summer day.
All of them decided to play tag, hiding behind rocks and under sea wood bridge that extends outwards over the water. By the end of the pier is a rest house used by those who comes to the beach for sightseeing or used by the fishermen to get under the heat.
Park Lyn-Ha at the age of 7 decided to stay a bit far from the others. She found this cave with large boulders and rocks surrounding it, her curiosity ought her to hide within this place.
There were lots of barnacles stuck under one of the rocks and a crab, which was startled by her stature do it decided to jump into the water.
She waited for the others to find her.
Though sleepiness dawned on her, being a kid she is, the little girl decided to sit down and lean on a clean boulder then closed her eyes for seconds.
She was tired so it might be a good idea to rest in a bit.
That was only the mistake she's never regretted the most.
Soft splashes from the waves hit the sandy shore. Lyn-Ha fluttered her smooth lashes from the sound, yawning when she did.
When she got out from that hiding spot it was already night and there hadn't been any people by the beach by now.
She was all alone.
The girl whose left by herself felt scared. It was dark and cold and she could not find her way home, why did everyone leave her here?
Didn't they try to find her?
She wiped a single tear from the corner of her eyes, sniffling under her breath and whimpering her mother's name from her lips.
Then..
Someone patted her from behind.
This startled her so she immediately smack the heck out of the unknown stranger.
"Ow!" Cried the person.
Their voice cracked at the end and then they hissed from the pain.
Lyn-Ha were met with a boy, the same height as her though this kid did not wear any upper clothes, the only dress he wore were his pants.
A seashell necklace tied around his neck.
"I-im sorry!" The girl apologized.
Jet-black hair tussled in the wind, soft and fluffy if one would touch it.
"What're you doing here in the middle of the night?" Asked the little boy.
Lyn-Ha blinked and then gripped the hem of her summer dress. "They.. left me here while we were playing hide and seek."
She tried to explain.
The ravenette haired hoy tilted his head. "Then do you know you're way home?" He questioned.
"No.." she answered.
The boy smiled widely. "Then why won't you stay and play with me??" he was beaming, ushering the little girl to pick up seashells.
"Uh?" Lyn-Ha uttered in confusion, she sweat dropped. Wanting to know what this kid's problem is.
It's alright night and he wants to play?
