( CHAPTER 2 )
( IN FRONT OF THE POLICE STATION )They were all released once everything was put to a clear understanding, wherein Zen had to vouch for his friend's actions that time.
Thank goodness the officers let them go with only a warning.
All of them stepped out the police station's office and no one had said any words.
They couldn't.
Because it wasn't their problem, it was Lyn-Ha's and In-heok's.
So they have no rights to have a say in anything, most of them could only stand a bit far from the two.
In-heok sighed, "Lyn-Ha, I'm sorry." apologized the boy with guilty eyes staring onto the ground.
He was unable to face the girl because of what he did.
Lyn-Ha's expression were undescribable by this moment feeling some sense of loss over the fact.. she wasn't loved that much by this man. This man whom she thought was gonna be her everything from the day they first met.
She was wrong.
In-heok was the same as everyone else she's met so far in her life. They always tend to go away, discarding her feelings however they want to, give her that sense of distrust throughout her entire life.
Why was it always like this?
The voice in her throat was stuck, she had a hard time getting it out of her system.
But she needs to know.
"Did you.." she started to speak, voice wavering.
In-heok slowly looked into her eyes, the expression that Lyn-Ha held are vividly seen in his pupils. He bit his lower lip in pure disgust, not to Lyn-Ha, but to himself.
To himself who broke such a person whom only wanted to be loved.
"Did you really love me?"
Those are the questions that she'd always ask the men whom came through her life in the years she's lived on this world, the exact same words that always has the same answer over and over again.
".. I'm sorry."
'Ah, i should've known.' Thought the female.
Lyn-Ha turned over her heels and started to walk off without glancing to everyone in the area.
"Lyn-Ha.." Ace calls out but she was stopped by Yu-bin and Zen.
The two had shaken their heads. Indicating that they should leave the girl alone.
No one at this very moment can save a girl's broken heart. Hence why they respected Lyn-Ha's decision and had let her be alone, to clear her mind.
Lyn-Ha were out of it. She doesn't know where her feet had taken her, the bottled-up emotions she's been keeping to herself are slowly breaking. She doesn't even care anymore as to where her lifeless thoughts would take her.
Soft breeze blew strands of locks backwards alongside the hem of her dress. She hugged herself for comfort, even though it wouldn't help no matter what she does.
That tint of pink shade appearing on her cheeks because of the cold temperature. It had already turned night by the time they were taken to the police station for the short briefing, plus they were also taken to the hospital before that.
Lyn-Ha landed her gaze to the bandaid hand that got scratches during the fight she'd caused.
That soft sigh escaping her lips, she doesn't even know she'd held her breath in.
