(Luna humming)

"That's a wrap!" Heart shrieked after Luna's final hum. "Fantastic job!! We did it!! We're ready for our fall concert next month!" Everybody cheered, in between breaths. Turns out playing instruments and singing can really wear you out. "Well, sort of.. we still need to finish up Coldest Summer and revamp Living Life On The Edge." Heart admitted, setting down her guitar. "Do we have to do that today, though? I honestly just wanna eat pastries and drink soda," Sofia said, setting her head down on the table. "Me too, I mean.. to be completely honest, I don't ever wanna practice again! I just wanna... sleep..." Gianna exclaimed, "And eat!" Sofia sighed, "And play video games together!" Luna sang dreamily. Emilio sighed, "you guys are hopeless, I swear!" He joked. "Ehh, well, I guess Heart's right, we still have a lot of work to do!" Luna sighed deeply and got up from her chair, and marched over to a purple-polka dotted book full of all of their songs. "We could practice coldest summer~" She sang, flipping to the page with coldest summer. Gianna groaned dramatically, pretending to fall asleep. "Wake up, Gigi!!" Heart said jokingly, tapping the top of her head. "Erghhhhh," Gianna whined. "I'll be up for coldest summer," Emilio choked out in-between his fits of laughter at Gianna. "Me too!" Heart replied. "Meh, I'm gonna make some pizza rolls!" Sofia sang, running to the mini fridge and mini oven in their club-room. "Make some for me!" Gianna said hungrily, sprinting to Sofia. So, Heart, Emilio, and Luna began to practice coldest summer. Heart and Sofia only sang in this song, so it was missing Sofia's vocals. During Sofia's parts, Heart timidly sang the lyrics she could remember. Once they all finished, they sighed, Heart and Emilio leaning on Luna's drum-set.

"Can I have some pizza rolls?" Luna tiredly asked, waddling to the table where Gianna and Sofia were sitting at. "Hey, I'm gonna make some bagel-bites, want some Heartymchearty?" Emilio questioned. "Ehhh... Hearty...mchearty?" Heart turned bright red, suddenly fidgeting. "U-uh, sure," She muttered, slowly sitting down next to Gianna. "Ooo, heartymchearty?" Gianna teased, "Yeah, he has a nickname for all of us, though!" Heart excused. "Exactly Gianna! He doesn't like you, Heart, in fact, he called me Sof before!" Sofia joked, swallowing her pizza roll. "Sofia..." Luna whispered to Sofia, which made Sofia say a brief, "Hmph.." before Emilio sat next to Heart, with a few bagel bites on a paper plate. "Mm, thanks Emi!" Heart smiled warmly, while thanking Emilio. "Emi?" Sofia mouthed to Luna, and Luna just shook her head in disappointment. Gianna giggled, watching all of this go down. Heart nervously ate her bagel-bites, Emilio watching her. She awkwardly laughed when she realized how closely he was watching her. Sofia stared at the both of them, disgusted but also I
finding it rather funny."Yumm..." Heart sang, with her mouth full. Emilio giggled with a soft blush. "Let's practice." Sofia mumbled bitterly, marching toward her guitar, picking it up, in hopes of maybe impressing Emilio. "Right now?" Heart questioned, looking at Sofia confused. "Yes. Now. I have enough energy now." Sofia said, with a complete blank expression on her face, as she tuned her guitar. "Uh, okay, what song?" Emilio asked, picking up his bass. "Coldest summer." Sofia responded, barely letting him finish. "Alright!" Luna said cheerfully, skipping to her drums. Everybody began to play their respective instruments, although Emilio and Gianna were slightly sloppy, most likely since they were caught off guard. "Isn't it summer. Ohh, what a bummer..." Heart sang into her mic. Sofia groaned, and began singing her part better then she ever did before. "This is the coldest summer yet.... Yet I regret, not, telling you before she.. she... she has to.. pay for this..—" Sofia was singing her heart out, before Heart had to cut her off.. "Whyyyy, does this always happen?" Heart sang, causing Sofia to mess up on a guitar note. Which was very rare, by the way, she was almost a flawless guitarist most of the time. Unless she was angry, that is.

"That's—"

"That's a wrap."

Sofia said Heart's signature line for her, even cutting her off for it.

"Ahah, Sof, are you alright?" Emilio questioned, looking at her with genuine concern. "Oh, yes, of course I am "EMI", why wouldn't I be?" Sofia replied, making quotation marks with her hands. "Sofia, ehhh.." Luna stopped herself, slipping into her usual chair. "Oo, is this drama?"Gianna said, jumping between Heart and Sofia. "WHAA? Of course not! Sofia just said she's... fine." Heart responded hesitantly. "Right?" Heart asked, looking Sofia dead in the eyes. "Sure." Was her her simple reply, before trotting away to talk to Luna on the couch. "She's, like, so jealous~" Gianna sang quietly to Heart. Heart sighed, and simply mumbled, "I hope not," and sat next to Emilio. Gianna timidly slid under the table, and gave Heart a thumbs-up. "What are you doing?" Heart whispered to her, but Gianna simply but her index finger over her mouth. "Soo, do you think something's up with Sof?" Emilio asked, "You mean Sofia? I mean, not that it's a crime to call her Sof, but it honestly doesn't fit her. Sof sounds like a cutesy name, and Sofia isn't exactly cutesy, she tries to be cool." Gianna said from under the table. Emilio stared at her with a weirded out expression, not realizing that she had been under the table. "Aheheh.. Anyways, uhh, I have announcement to make everybody!" Heart suddenly raised her voice, getting up from her chair. "As you know, we need some practice, and.. My brother knows some people who know some people who know someone who.. can rent us a beach!" She announced, and suddenly everybody's faces lit up, especially Luna's and Sofia's, since they were frowning before. "Beach Day!!!" Gianna screamed, so loud that Sofia covered her ears for a moment. "It's like an anime!" Emilio stated, "Every anime needs a beach episode, common knowledge."

"Nerd!" Luna teased, now smiling. "When is this?" Sofia asked, "Next Saturday, I'll text y'all the address! They even have a special place to practice, it's so cool!" Heart said happily, grinning. "Man, my cheeks are gonna be sore from smiling so much today.." Emilio said, which made Gianna laugh obnoxiously. "So, bring your swimsuits and sunscreen! We're gonna have the time of our lives!" Heart announced again, then she gave that smile that she gave when she wanted everybody to go in for a group hug, and Luna and Emilio got the memo, running in to hug Heart and each other. Then soon enough Sofia and Gianna did, too, Sofia running into a space between Heart and Emilio, and Gianna in between Heart and Luna. They all hugged and cheered, hopeful for their band.

They were just teenagers in a band, after all.

Who knew they would fall in love.

Either way, this was the best Wednesday of their life.
