I was around the age of 8.
Ever since I started doing homeschool, my parents had been more depressed each and everyday. I had no idea why so I went up and told them.
"Mommy, daddy, why are you guys sad everyday?"
Then my dad said " Bina, don't say that. We aren't sad. Now go upstairs and study for your yeast that's tomorrow."
I was expecting that answer. And I know that because they are my parents. I knew that they're lying to me.
I need to find out why they're sad.

(1 week later)
I woke up by my mom telling me to wake up for school. As I get dressed I told my mom the same question
"Mommy, please tell me why you and daddy are always sad."
Then my mom replied "we'll tell you later sweetie."
"But when?" I asked.
"After your teachers leave."
"Okay." I told my mom. I was waiting anxiously to hear what they have to say. I really wanted to know why they are sad all the time. I couldn't stand seeing my mom and dad being sad and depressed all the time.

(6 hours later)
I sat down as my parents told my what happened.
As they told me what happened.
I was shocked.
I couldn't believe what I heard.
