Destiny}

First thing's first, VAMPIRES DO NOT BURN IN THE SUN NOR DO THEY "SPARKLE"

We are just like everyone else aside from the drinking blood from humans and being immortal part but yeah we look the same talk the same and yeah we may be a little faster

Im just saying all the facts you get from TV and books are or could be wrong, but hey what do I know? Im new at this whole vamp thing

Highschool hasn't been easy for me especially when I'm a vampire and all I can think of is blood
But I can sort of control it or at least I'm learning how too control it.

Keeping my distance has been working allot lately It's almost like I'm invisible, or so I thought

"Are you new here or something?" A girl asked snapping me out of my thoughts

"What?" I asked because I didn't hear what she asked me before

"Are you new here?" She asked again and another person came over after he was just standing over by the other lockers while I was sitting on the floor next too mine

"Of course she isn't new here that's Destiny" the guy said "sorry I don't technically believe in fate or destiny Xander" the girl said I looked at them with a confused look

"No that's her name, Destiny Whitney she's in most of our classes together she never talks but the teachers always ask her for the answers" Xander says and the girl rolled her eyes

"Whatever, anyways I was just wondering cause I've seen you around and your never with anyone" the girl says

I looked at her "that's because people are toxic and I like my alone time" I said and she nodded "I'm not toxic am I?" She asked

"Don't know you well enough too know that." I said and she grins I looked at Zander "why's she grinning like that? Is she broken?"

"Yes and no, but I think you just gave her an idea" Xander says

"Oh lord please help me"I said with a sigh

"Let's be friends then you can tell me if I'm toxic or not" the girl says

"I don't even know you." I said picking my things up as the bell rings

"The name's Carmen Dupree" she says holding her hand out for me too shake

"Well Carmen nice meeting you but I need too head home" I said not shaking her hand

"O-okay well see you tomorrow then" she says "I guess" I said as I walked off outside where it was pouring rain "great"

I heard Xander and Carmen walking behind me "we can take you home if you want?" Zander asked

"Better than my things getting soaked"

We walked too the car a Xander opened the door for me "thanks I said setting my bag down on the seat and got in

Xander dropped me off at my house and I walked in and was greeted by the family dog Merlin, and my eight year old sister

"How was school sis?" Jude asked as she gave me a bit hug "well you know it's school" I said

"Make any friends today?" Jude asked "sort of" I said as I sat her down "where's mom?" I asked

"The store Ty and Cleo are here watching me since Ty got sick and didn't go too school and Cleo doesn't go too school anymore" Jude says

I raised an eyebrow "Ty's sick huh? He's probably faking it too skip the math test we had"

"That is false sis" Ty said walking into the living room "you don't look sick"

"I have a cough" Ty says and fake coughs "quit your bullshit Tyron"

Jude giggles "you said a bad word sissy"

I rolled my eyes "is there any thing too beat I'm hungry"

"Mom went shopping for taco stuff" Ty says

"Yum can't wait" I said "why are you always hungry sis?" Jude asked

"Because I'm a growing woman, I need food" I said and she laughs "careful don't eat too much you'll get fat" Jude says and pokes my check.

"Yeah yeah whatever" I said and turned too Ty "oh by the way Ty we had a test I'm not sure if you were aware of it but it's one if those you CANNOT REDO test in math." I said and that's when he starts freaking out and crying

Jude laughs "your so mean Nini"
I smiled at her "I know I am"
