Chapter 2

When Jace looked at you angry you were confused. Why was he mad that a guy was flirting with you? He has watched you flirt with so many guys over the years, why was this mission different?
you got interrupted in your thoughts by Jace screaming at the guy.
Jace: "leave her alone."
The Guy: "why is she your girlfriend." the guy laughs and Jace gets even more pissed.
Jace: "Yea. She is."
you froze. What did he say? you turned to look at Izzy but she was as shocked as you were. why would he say that?
Alec: "Jace!"
he turned and looked at Alec and immediately calmed down and then realized what he said. Then he looked at you.
Jace: "Y/n I'm sorry I don't know what happened I-"
You hug him
You: "Hey it's okay we'll talk later okay?"
he nods. you then turn to the guy and realized the mission.
"shit" you mumbled as you realized he is a demon you quickly took out your sword and just when you go to kill him the demon it scratched your arm that makes you drop your sword.
"FUCK." you screamed in pain but quickly grab Jaces sword and followed the demon into the alleyway with Izzy not to far behind you.
Izzy: "Y/n Wait!"
you heard her but continued to follow the demon and once it stopped it went to attack you again and got you with its claws across your stomach you quickly kill it with your sword then fall to the ground and drop your sword. Izzy runs up to you and grabs your steel and traces your healing rune but that's not enough.
Izzy: "your going to be okay love just stay with me"
you nod trying not to pass out from all the blood you lost.
Izzy: "ALEC JACE OUT HERE"
they come running out and see you on the ground bleeding. Jace comes up to you
Jace: "It's all my fault. I'm so sorry y/n."
you look at him
You: "no no it's not- *you cough* it's not your fault Jace."
your eyes start to close and the next thing you see is black.

you woke up in the infirmary and all you see is a sleeping, messy haired, tired looking Jace. You look at him just for a moment and then Izzy came in and saw you awake
Izzy: "Y/n! Thank god your awake" she hugs you Jace then wakes up and also sees your awake he then walks up to you
Jace: "your okay." he smiles. you laugh
You: "don't go soft on me now." you laugh but grab your stomach in pain. He looks at you and shakes his head.
Jace: "don't worry your still a pain in my ass." he rolled his eyes at you and laughed. You went to get up but Jace and Izzy both stopped you.
Izzy: "oh no you don't." she pushes you back down on the bed
Jace: "you need to rest and heal."
you rolled your eyes at both of them
You: "guys I'm fine. " you sit up and take the bandage off of you and you had a scratch on you where the big gash was. Jace and Izzy looked at you confused then Alec walked in.
Alec: "good Magnus' magic worked."
you looked at him
You: "what do you mean?"
Alex: "while you were healing Magnus came and had you heal faster."
you nodded
You: "tell him I said thanks"  he nodded at you and then you went to go get changed in your room into a fitted black crop top with black leather pants and your black leather jacket with your black heals and then put your hair in a ponytail. when you were finished you heard a knock at the door
You: "come in"
someone walks and you turn to see who it is. it's Clary
Clary: "Hey flower" she smiled (that's what she calls you)
You: "Hi C" you smiled back (that's what you call her)
Clary: "How are you feeling?"
You: "I'm okay you know since Magnus healed me"
Clary: "okay well we have a mission together with Jace and the Clave wants you to be boyfriend and Girlfriend."
you turned a looked at her with wide eyes
Clary: "don't look at me"
You: "but C why can't you be his girlfriendddd" you whined
Clary: "becauseeee flower the clave gave their orders" you pouted and Clary looked at
you and smiled and then she hugged you
Clary: "come on flower he's not that bad" you looked at her
You: "Yes he issss C. he is such a pain in my ass thinking that he is perfect all the time with his blonde hair and muscles and-"
Clary: "wait a minute. do you like him?"
you eyes widened
You: "no why would I?"
Clary: "you definitely do!" you run to your door then look around to make sure no one's there then shut the door then turn and look at Clary
You: "okay you can't tell anyone and I mean anyone C."
Clary: "okay I promise flower." you sighed building up the courage to tell her the big secret you've been keeping from everyone.
You: "I'm in love with Jace." you sighed finally getting that off your chest. Clary's jaw dropped open mostly because she was kidding about you liking him let alone loving him.
Clary: "wait are you serious?" you nodded
Clary: "OH MY GODDDDD"
You: "CLARY" you ran and covered her mouth
You: "SHHHH"
Clary: "sorry" she smiled and you smiled back finally relieved that you told someone.
Clary: "Alright let's go on this mission" she winked at you as you both left the room to go do the mission. Jace was already waiting for you both and looked at you both confused why Clary was so smiley.
Jace: "What's with Clary?" you laugh nervously
You: "um nothing let's just get going okay Wayland" he looked at you confused
Jace: "um okay?"
you all grab your weapons and start to head to the police station for your mission.

A/n: Okay so this chapter was longggg so sorry btw. But like this chapter is crazy bro😭. I'll post the next chapter tomorrow or at least try to yall 😭
