Chapter 6

you take a deep breathe. okay Y/n you got this. Just say it.
Jace: "Y/n?"
Jace: "hello?!" you snap out of it.
Y/n: "what? huh?" he laughs
Jace: "you were gonna tell me something?" you laugh nervously
Y/n: "right." you take a deep breathe.
Y/n: "so basically I was wondering what I should wear tonight." he looks confused
Jace: "okay but why?"
Y/n: "because.. I have a date!. Yes I have a date." he looks upset and kind of mad
Jace: "a date?" you nod
Jace: "with who?"
Y/n: "that's none of your business Wayland." he laughs
Jace: "okay..?"
Y/n: "you gonna help me orrr?" he shakes his head no. you leave the room and go back to your room where Clary,Izzy,and Alec are waiting for you. you then flop on your bed face down.
Clary: "what happened?" you turn your head to the side.
Y/n: "I got nervous and told him that I had a date tonight." Izzy rolls you over
Izzy: "Y/N?!?"
Clary: "why would you do that? you idiot." you shrug your shoulders
You: "I don't know it just slipped out." Alec shakes his head.
Alec: "you have to fix this or go on this fake date."Alec: "Shit Y/n you have to do something."
You: "I know I know." Izzy grabs you and Clary and pulls you into the bathroom.
Clary: "Ow Izzy!!"
You: "dude what the hell!"
Izzy: "shhhh!" you both stop talking
Izzy: "I have a plan."
You: "we're listening.." she smiles
Izzy: "I am going to talk to one of
my guy friends and tell them that they are going on a fake date with you. And you Miss Y/n Clary is going to get you ready with my clothes." your eyes widen
You: "Izzy-"
Izzy: "no questions just get ready I'll be back after I call my friend" you both nod and go to Izzy's room to pick out a outfit for you to wear.

10 minutes later

you end up picking a very short black dress with black heels with red at the bottom and your black leather jacket with Izzy's tiny sparkly black purse. then Izzy comes in to do your hair and makeup. she curls your hair and does a nude makeup look with bold eyeliner and red lipstick.

after about 2 hours

your finally ready and Izzy's friend is waiting for you at the door. You walk out your room and see Jace.
You: "hey!" he looks up and freezes
Jace: "woah." he just stares at you
You: "what?"
Jace: "nothing. you look beautiful" he smiles
Jace: "enjoy ur date munchkin" he then walks away. you smile
You: "thanks J!" you then walk outside and see Raphael. your smile fades.
You: "this should be fun." you walk to the car and he opens up the door for you.

I walk away from Y/n and my smile fades. She's going on date. She's going on a date.. she's going on a date? she's going on a-
Izzy: "hey are you okay Jace?" i look at her
Jace: "huh?"
Izzy: "I said are you okay?" I nod but I lied. Y/n going on a date with another guy hurts. I love her but obviously she doesn't feel the same. I pick up my phone and text Clary to come to my room.

5 minutes later

Clary walks into my room
Clary: "hey what's up?" I look up
Jace: "I need your help with something"
Clary: "okay?" I sigh.
Jace: "I need you get one of your friends to go one a fake date with me so I can make Y/n jealous." her mouth fell open.
Clary: "wait so you l-"
Jace: "yes I love Y/n." her mouth fell even more open.
Clary: "Oh my god."
Jace: "Please just help me" she sighs
Clary: "fine but you won't like who it is."
Jace: "is it?"
Clary: "me..?" he laughs
Jace: "oh your serious." she nods
Jace: "okay how about in 2 days at 7pm."
Clary: "sounds like a plan."

you and Raphael get to this fancy restaurant. he then parks and opens the car door for you. You guys go to the restaurant and sit down.
Server: "what would you guys like to drink?"
Raphael: "water with lemon please"
Server: "okay and for you miss?"
You: "I'll have a raspberry ice tea please"
Server: "okay I'll give you a few minutes to decide what you want to order and I'll be right back with the drinks." you start looking on the menu for something to eat hoping you won't have to talk to him.
Raphael: "so how have you been amor?" you roll your eyes.
You: "i've been okay."
Raphael: "why so annoyed?"
You: "I don't know maybe because your the last person I want to be on a date with."
Raphael: "why can't we just put the past behind us amor?"
You: "i can't just pretend like we didn't date for 3 years and then thought it would be a fantastic idea to cheat on me." he rolls his eyes
Raphael: "you were always so petty." you glare at him. he laughs

2 hours later

Y/n is home but something was off considering she stumble through the door and can barely walk straight.
You: "hEey J"
Jace: "hey munchkin" I smile
Jace: "you wanna go to bed?" she nodded and I picked her up and carried her to her room and put her on her side with a trash can next to her bed.
Jace: "goodnight Y/n."
You: "waitttt" I stop and turn around
You: "can you stay with me?" I smiles
Jace: "of course munchkin" she turns towards me
You: "your pretty hot" she smiles
Jace: "thanks you are too"  I laugh but then i turn away from her.
Don't get me wrong the compliment was sweet but I wish she was sober.
