Chapter 3

you guys arrive at the police station. You and Jace head inside while Clary sneaks in to bail out Simon.
You: "Okay Jace follow my lead." he nods as you guys walk in you see Clary then give her a look to play along for what your about to do. you then slap Jace across the face.
You: "How dare you!" he looks at you confused
Jace: "Ouch."
You: "you slept with my best friend!" pointing to Clary
Clary: "I'm so sorry Y/n it was an accident!" you turn and look at her while fake crying
You: "an accident. You call my boyfriend getting you pregnant an accident?!?" Jace's eyes widened
Jace: "Baby I'm s-"
You: "don't call me that you two can have each other and that baby!"
Jace: "baby don't do this."
Clary: "Flower please don't-" you interrupted
You: "you two deserve each other." you fake cry and storm out of the police station and go to bail Simon out.

I walk up to Clary after Y/n stormed out of the station.
Jace: "What was that?"
Clary: "I don't know but I think Y/n is going to get Simon since she stormed out." I nod and we both walk out of the police station.

you take your steel out and glamorize yourself. You think to your self. Why do I always have to save this man I don't even like him. I only tolerate him for Clary. then you finally reached his cell
Simon: "Y/n! Thank god!" you roll your eyes
You: "yea yea let's go four eyes."you use your steel to unlock the cell door and lead him out but you then stumble into Jace.
Jace: "okay good you got him"  you rolls your eyes
You: "yea your welcome Mr. Perfect I saved four eyes now let's go." you let Simon go out first and he runs to Clary and hugs her
Simon: "oh my god Clary"
Clary: "Simon! Thank god your okay!" your watching them when you get this sudden feeling that Jace isn't really Jace you then look deep into his eyes and realize it's not him. it's a demon. you take out your sword and go to kill the demon then Clary sees you.
Clary: "Y/N NO" but it's too late. you stab the demon.
Fake Jace: "Y/n?"
You. "Oh my god Jace. No." but then the body disappears into ash. you realize you were right. you sigh in relief.
You: "Thank god." and then Jace comes running up to you.
Jace: "I see you got pea brain over there" you laughed and then hugged him really tight.
Jace: "hey woah. What happened?" he hugged you back.
You. "there was a demon that looked just like you and I thought it was a demon but when I killed it made it look like I killed you and-" jace cuts you off with a hug.
Jace: "hey hey. it's okay. i'm okay Y/n." you hug him tightly. he then pulls away and you punched his arm
Jace: "Ouch! What was that for?" he then rubbed his arm.
You: "that was for you going soft on me Wayland." you laugh and then he punched you in the gut and laughs.
You: "you think that's funny?"
Jace: "I think it's hilarious" he continued to laugh then you walked up to him and flipped him onto the sidewalk straight on his ass. you started to laugh as he lays down in pain.
Clary: "enough you two let's get back to the Institute." you then walk over to Clary leaving Jace on the ground.
You: "you coming or are you just going to nap all day." you laugh and then he gets up and you guys start heading back to the institute. On the way there Simon was really annoying you.
Simon: "Clary are you sure you don't want to come home with me?" you rolled your eyes
Clary: "yes. This is my home now."
You: "you heard her four eyes she doesn't like you now leave" Clary glares at you and you throw your hands up in defense. Jace just laughs at what you said.
Simon: "Alight Y/n I had enough of your stupid jokes. Your just upset because Jace wants Clary and not you. You can't be pissed at me all the time because I have a mom and you don't."
you freeze and turn around.
You: "excuse me?" he gulped realizing who he said that too. Jace walks up to him a little pissed.
Jace: "Watch your mouth Lewis." you then walk up to him
You: "okay listen you dickhead I don't want Jace  and if he dates Clary that is fine with me but maybe you should tell Clary that your in love with her. Full warning she doesn't love you."
you walk even closer to him
You: "and if you ever talk about my mom like that or talk to me like that ever fucking again. I will rip you limb from limb and then when your body accepts the pain and gives you that one final moment where your not in pain before you die, I will have Magnus heal you and do it over and over and over again." he laughs
Simon: "like you would ever hurt me"
you walked up to him and twisted his hand almost breaking it.
You: "wanna bet?" you keep twisting his hand
You: " Listen very closely asshole. I only save you because you mean something to Clary. I don't care about you so don't think I won't have any problem killing you and so help me god I will torture you until you beg me to kill you." Jace still pissed off gives you a look to let go of his hand and walk away. Clary just looked at you apologetically because she knows what happened to your mom. You break Simons hand and then let go. You then walked away pissed off and Jace catches up with you in case something happens or you do something. Simon looks at Clary as he realizes you spilled his secret. She looks at him kind of pissed and then keeps on walking.
Jace: "Y/n are you okay?" you glare at him
You: "does it look like i'm fucking okay Wayland?" you've never been this mad before but hearing Simon say that stuff about your mom
made your blood boil. It made you want to just kill him. Jace then stops you and grabs you by your arms and makes you look at him
Jace: "Relax. Breathe." you look at his eyes and breathe. You calm down a little bit.
Jace: "better?"
You: "a little." you continue walking to the institute with Jace while Clary and Simon are far behind walking awkwardly next to each other. Jace then looks at you and laughs
Jace: "what you said though was sooo funny" he continues laughing. you then laugh with him
You: "it was pretty good wasn't it." you both continue laughing. Finally getting to the institute. You go to room and put sweatpants and a sweatshirt on and throw your hair in a messy bun. Jace then comes in.
Jace: "goodnight munchkin." You smile at the thought of him calling you that since he hasn't called you that since you were kids. He leaves then you lay down and finally go to sleep.

A/n: Sorry again for the long chapter😭. But this was an interesting one and maybe Y/n will talk about what happened to her mom later on. Anyways I hoped you enjoyed this chapter I'll try and update tomorrow :)
