Boudi was getting ready for another day at the palace, sitting in front of her mirror, adjusting her braided long red hair. She didn't have a servant full-time and preferred it that way. She wasn't a high-ranking noble and therefore wasn't allowed a full-time servant. They were reserved for special occasions to assist her. She wasn't even of noble birth but did have a decently sized room with her own bathroom and balcony.

Boudi was another of Queen Frigga's adopted prodigies, another child that had shown promise. She had earned her high status from her years of hard graft and natural talent for sorcery. She had been recruited to the magic school of Asgard, or at least that's what they liked to call it. Frigga was her primary sponsor for her placement, so Boudi always worked hard to impress her. Now that she had graduated with the highest honours, Boudi was working on becoming a teacher for new students. She wanted to pass on her knowledge and skill to the next generation. She wanted to ensure every student had a better experience than she had during her school years.

As she finished the last adjustment to her hair, there was a knock at her chamber door. Boudi turned her head to see a note pushed under the door. She furrowed her bow at the white piece of paper but got up to pick it up from the cool stone floor.

Please meet me at the library.

That was all the piece of paper had scribed upon it, which was strange. There was no signature, no obvious marking to indicate who it had been sent from.

Boudi turned it over in her hand, examining it further. She wasn't the most trusting person and had every right not to be. She had long been on the suffering end of countless jokes and pranks during her school years. There were many occasions when she had almost left the school entirely but had promised herself not to let the bullies win. She was hardened. Some might even call her cold and heartless, with only one real friend, Astrid.

Astrid was the opposite of Boudi. She was outgoing and friendly with not a care in the world, it seemed. They had a strange friendship drawn together by their love for combat. Frigga had seen how lonely and reserved Boudi had become, and so she had purposefully put the two young girls together during fighting practice. They were closely matched with their skill, but Astrid found it hard to concentrate sometimes. Boudi would bring her back to the present and ground her back to the moment. Together they were formidable on the battlefield, seeming to know what the other was thinking and working together.

Perhaps the note was from Astrid, Boudi thought. She had often gotten her servants to write quick little letters from her to Boudi when she didn't have time.

Boudi sighed. She was going to go to the library today anyway. Two birds, one stone, she thought.

She headed out of her chambers, closing the door behind her and headed down the corridors. On her way past the countless Einherjar, she nodded in greeting. There were more guards in the palaces than usual. There had been rumours of frost giants entering Asgard secretly, spying on the court, so Odin had doubled the guard in case of an attack.

As Boudi entered the library, she looked around for Astrid, scanning each row as she walked deeper into the vast expanse of the familiar room. She had spent many nights studying here and found the smell of the old books and scrolls comforting. The room was well-lit this morning, with all the shutters open to allow the natural light inside.

A dark figure to Boudi's right caught her eye, and she turned towards them. Thinking it was Astrid, Boudi walked a few steps closer. She gasped as her eyes focused on who it was and what they were doing.

There stood Prince Loki with a person on their knees in front of him. It was pretty obvious what they were doing as their head bobbed up and down towards Loki's crotch.

Boudi squeezed her eyes tight, embarrassment washing over her at what she had just walked into.

Prince Loki was the source of her torment, her bully, and her rival in everything and anything involving magic. She couldn't stand him. In fact, she hated him just as much as he made it clear that he hated her.

"Eyes on me, darling," Loki's deep velvet voice cut through the air, soaking into Boudi's ears.

She opened her eyes, expecting Loki to be talking to the person giving him pleasure, but to her horror, he was staring straight at her.

"That's right, kitten."

Boudi stared back at him in disbelief, his words and behaviour confusing her. He'd never shown the slightest bit of interest in her like that. He had always been cruel and mean to her. Some might even say vicious. Loki hadn't said a kind word to her in all the years they had been in classes together. He always had to be better than her and took great displeasure whenever she beat or outperformed him. It would result in Boudi getting tricked or pranked in front of everyone, making her the butt of the joke. After all the years of his jibes, he'd made her the cold and hard woman she was today.

Boudi knew she should look away; she knew she should storm out of the room in disgust. But for some reason, she was rooted to the spot.

Loki's mouth hung open as he continued to stare back at Boudi. He moved his hand to grip the back of the person's head, twisting their hair around his fingers to gain better purchase on them to go deeper. Loki moaned loudly whilst his grip tightened, and his hips began thrusting wildly before his whole body tensed.

He was blowing his load down this person's throat as they coughed and gagged on it, but Loki's eyes never left Boudi's as he ejaculated.

Boudi swallowed her shock and shame at the lustful feeling that overcame her as she watched him. She squeezed her thighs tightly together as the wetness seeped into her undergarments.

Loki's hand slowly slipped from the person's hair as he caught his breath and smirked back at Boudi.

Good girl, he silently mouthed to her.

Boudi stood in complete shock at Loki's blatancy, her lips parting and her eyes widening.

The person on their knees turned to see what Loki was looking at, and to Boudi's horror, it was Astrid who was staring back at her from the floor.

Boudi had frozen to the spot again, her feet unable to move as though caught in quicksand, but this time it was from her friend's betrayal. The words she wished to scream at Astrid caught in her throat as her body tingled with goosebumps as she continued to stare at her friend.

Loki just continued smirking and staring at Boudi. He seemed to be enjoying the whole sordid situation without an ounce of embarrassment. He slowly picked up his horned helmet from the floor and placed it back on his head.

"How could you?" Boudi's voice was barely above a whisper as a single tear fell from the corner of her eye. She spun on her heel and took off running, needing to get away.

How could she do that to me? Boudi thought. Astrid knew how much she hated Loki. They had had countless conversations about what a prick he was. How cruel he was to Boudi and how unfair and callus he was towards her. Astrid had never said anything about liking Loki like that. Boudi felt nothing but betrayal from her friend.

Boudi ran down the corridors of the library back to the entrance. She slowed as she exited the room to head back to her chambers. She wiped her tears away roughly with the back of her hand. She hated to seem weak in front of anyone. It stung her pride that she'd let Loki see her tears just now in the library.

As she walked down the hallway, she could hear heavy footsteps behind her. She could feel a person's presence behind her as they got closer with every stride.

She expected it to be Astrid following her to apologise, to say it was all a mistake, that Loki had seduced her, but the hand that grabbed Boudi's wrist was much larger than she expected as she was pulled into a dark alcove and pushed against the wall.

"You should have stayed. It seemed like you were enjoying the show, pet," Loki said as he caught his breath and stared down at her.
