I woke up on a patch of grass, the river still flowing next to me. I got up gingerly, everything ached. I felt something drip down my forehead, blood. I must have hit a rock or something before I passed out. I looked around, there was a forest to my right and from behind the trees, a young man came out.

He had white hair, the same as Bri's, blue eyes and fair skin. His lashes were white as well so it looks like they are coated in snow. The boy walked over to me and squatted down, "Oh thank goodness your okay, I thought you died! Oh my, that looks like it hurts, let me help you with that," the boy said quickly and put down the basket he was carrying. He grabbed out a first aid kit and opened it up. He dug around for a bit and found a small towel and and bandage.

He wetted the towel in the river and dabbed it gently on my wound, cleaning off the blood. After he was done he dipped it in the water once again to clean it off. The boy put the towel to the side and raised a finger, a cooling sensation washed over my cut, it felt really soothing. "The frost stops most of the blood from coming out and helps with swelling," he said once the bandage was placed, "I am Aiden Distantwind by the way, ice powers," he smiled and put the towel back in the kit.

"What is your name and what power do you ho-" he stopped and drifted his eyes down to my wrist, the 1 with the cursive E burned onto my skin, "I recognise that mark, you're an Elemental!" he positioned himself on his knees and bowed his head, "I'm so sorry for not noticing Madam! Um, I'm assuming you are Madam Water?"

"Please don't call me that, just Annalise would do," I said, helping him up. Aiden brushed off the pants and stared at me with excited eyes, "I didn't think I would ever get to see an Elemental, like, ever! My father has told me all about the Originals and their cool powers! My father, Alexander, works for Lucinda. So I know that you are here to defeat King Rome!" Aiden was bouncing with excitement.

"Here! Take this basket, there are some clothes inside for you and just other stuff you might need," he handed me the basket and pointed into the trees, "There is a clearing just behind these trees, I set up a change area for you just in case you woke up and wanted to be dry," I thanked him profusely and stalked off into the trees.
