Naruto stretched while yawning. Hashirama's emotions finally settled late last night while his Godfather and his Senju cousin through marriage decided to be dead drunk because of what his life had become. How rude. It wasn't that strange.

Well, maybe he was so used to strange that normal became overrated.

He walked out of the room that Minato managed to drag them to when the two supposed adults in his life decided to pass out drunk with the help of a rather frantic Shizune. Ton-Ton decided to play dead in the presence of the Shinigami who had manifested himself with an exasperated smile and a disappointed look that could turn diamond to dust when he stared at Jiraiya. It was clear that he was wondering if he was under a strong Genjutsu the whole time he was alive to make this mess of a man Naruto's Godfather.

Naruto saw Toneri sitting by himself at the food stall opened just across their inn, having a late breakfast. He joined his brother and asked, "Where's Indra?"

Toneri pointed at a random direction, "Selling the mushrooms we harvested last night. He said that even though you grew it because you were depressed, it still tasted way better than those harvested from either forest or farm,"

Naruto grimaced, thinking back on the negative emotional roller coaster that Hashirama dragged him through. Seriously, was the man born with a mental illness? Being depressed at the drop of a hat and excited at another turn, it can be mistaken as his second Kekkei Genkai. Like the man was wearing the theatre masks except it was his own face. Talk about two faced.

Toneri poked him and Naruto looked out his head to see the stall owner frantically begging him, "Shinobi-san! Please stop growing mushrooms on my stall! I haven't finished paying for it!"

Naruto winced, "Sorry," The mushrooms that have been growing popped off and he smiled, "Please use them. They might not grow the natural way but I assure you they taste really good and are very healthy for the one consuming,"

Toneri nodded, "Almost medicinal,"

The vendor eyed him suspiciously but didn't touch the mushrooms lying around his stall. Naruto couldn't blame the guy. Shinobi in the eye of the normal civilians are like youkai, capable of causing harm even when meaning well. So he didn't say anything when Toneri ended up paying the man extra for the trouble he caused and gathering the mushrooms to eat later. Naruto started to suspect that perhaps Hashirama ate one too many mushrooms when he was younger.

Naruto looked around the town and saw Tsunade sitting with a group of gamblers, trying her non-existent luck with the dice game. Naruto smiled and walked over to watch her but as she kept on losing, Hashirama's chakra burned.

He piped up, "Big,"

Tsunade looked at him and the dealer frowned, "Are you going to pay to bet?"

Naruto pointed at Tsunade, "I'm betting in her name,"

Tsunade raised a brow and Naruto grinned at her. She huffed and looked at the dealer, "Let's see how your luck hold, brat," She still have a hard time seeing the gaki as her Grandpa. They looked nothing alike...besides the confident grin and the sudden bout of depression.

The dices were rolled and the dealer revealed; Big.

He tried again and Naruto declared, "Small,"

It revealed a Small number.

"Big,"

It was Big.

"Big,"

Another Big and Tsunade cheered.

"Small,"

The dealer grimaced as Small numbers appeared. Tsunade's cheering grew louder.

Naruto suddenly frowned at the next round and stared the dealer down, "You changed the dice. This one's weighed,"
