she doesn't believe in love anymore. if anything, she hates the idea. more importantly, she hates the person who introduced the concept to her.

she never expected to feel loved and be completely destroyed at the hands of the same person. what she doesn't realize is that there are two sides to every story, because pain feels eternal and is blinding.

to him, though, no matter the situation, she is oxygen. the meaning and purpose to his life.

she's his drug, and he is a user addicted to the high she brings him.

it's only a matter of time before they realize nothing can stop them from wanting more. the bliss is incomparable, and not even the harshest reality could downplay that.

❝ if only you could peer into my heart, you would then be able to fathom the intensity of my love for you, how it's capable of encompassing the entire universe into it's width and make even tremendous galaxies look like a joke. past, present, or future, nothing holds the capacity to change it.❞

how am i to convey my gratitude to you for picking this book to read? i appreciate it greatly.

before everything, i'd like to make it known that this book is told in two alternative timelines, then and now. then is what took place a year ago in the character's lives compared to now.

this book is my first ever, so i hope it's not as dreadful as it seems to me. i struggle a bit with plot development but i hope it's not as obvious and the book doesn't seem mind or pointless. i might also mess up with some grammar, tenses, punctuation and more as english is not my first language, bear in mind. currently, i'm just messing around with ideas scattered around my head therefore this book is still in the works. as mentioned earlier, this is my first work and i'm definitely not a real good writer but it's something i like to do. thank you once again for choosing forgotten promises and i hope you enjoy it <3

(bear in mind this book contains mature subject matters and portrays struggle with realization of self worth, self harm, mental illness and more, this is the only trigger warning)
