The 2nd army is the first army for expansion as they clear bases of the GOC then erase the existence of said base so they don't worry of GOC revenge on them. They are offensive but can be defensive if it comes down to it as they are led by the women general Ord who is a master of all offensive weapons and holds amazing durability allowing them to rush with less losses.
