Ch 5: The Test

"Hmmm...Aonung " y'know they've been have a bromance going on since the last time I saw them and in the movie they were always together

"EYWA NO" he threw a pillow right at your head and just looked horrified in general that you would even suggest it. Wasting no more time h e wrapped himself up in a blanket and turned away from you "Just go to bed"

"Okay okayy, good night " laughing a bit you complied, tomorrow is gonna be pretty fun, I can't wait!

"...good night " he waited a while before he actually replied, there was no way he'd actually be able to fall asleep in the same room as you. And your beds were so close too-

Y/n pov.

All around you was dark, not a sound to be heard or a breeze to be felt. You couldn't smell anything or feel any of your surroundings. But when you looked down you saw your new body, that you've grown to call your own. This was all so strange, you've never had a dream in this world.

The scene changes, life is all around you. There are plants and people all around. They look like the present...you. Could these be some of the memories of this body from before I took over it. You spot one particular red individual; they look like a child version of yourself. They're holding the hand of what you assume is their father. They're talking, laughing, and they look so happy.

"Little petal, all this around us was given to us by Eywa. Without Eywa we would not have a home, food or life to lead. When the time comes Eywa will lead you to have a happy family. You have to make sure your husbands always listen to you" the man had a teasing look on his face but you could tell how much he dearly loved the child holding his hand

"Hahahaha of course Daddy!" However, no matter how much you wanted to focus on their heartwarming interaction. You subconsciously zoned in on the word 'husbands', not just one but many.

For the first time you really began to look around, truly most women were surrounded by at least two men. And with the way they're interacted you simply couldn't say they weren't romantically involved. Of course there were some that only did have one man, but they were few and far.

Oh ho~ the women here got life good, they got all these guys doing everything thing they could ever desire

Before you could even bask in how peaceful and harmonious and how much you wanted multiple husbands the scenes change again, this time to a much darker place. This time there were fires burning and a strong stench of blood.  It made you want to hurl, this was horrid. The people that were once so happy became melting corpses as soldiers that looked like Na'vi attacked their village. They were darker than the forest Na'vi and apparently much stronger.

You are just a ghost watching this horror play out. There's nothing you could do, you wanted to look away but you couldn't. These were the memories of the body you were in, this happened, these are your memories now.

"Daddy! Daddy come on,you gotta come with me! We need to go!" Thick streams of tears were rolling down child you's face, she tried her hardest to pull her father with her. Her Dad turned around with determination in his eyes as he held the girls shoulder in a firm grim

"Petal, I'm gonna need you to run as fast as you can, you have to promise me you'll hide in the old bunk. I have to go find Papa and Mommy. The second I get them we'll all go to the bunk as well. But I need you to be brave, strong heart, petal promise me you'll be brave" his eyes were clear with his intentions he will get his family out of here. The little girl nodded her head, tears still flowing strong. Seeing her agree, he pulled her in for a brief tight hug then pushed her in the direction you assume the bunk is.
