Chapter 13 pathetic

it was another day a really boring one

Rose did not expect the most mundane things in her short life that has been extended

she was a soldier now she was a student at a academy sitting around learning some of the most boring things ever 

Grimm studies which she thought would help her learn about  the demons that haunt this world had devolved into a overweight old man blabbering about his glory days.

History? sad and pathetic the humans here lacked proper armies and there wars where sad, seriously HOW DO YOU LOSE TO FILTHY AB HUMANS! it frustrated her.

Combat class was the only one she looked forward to as she could train their and see how the other students would fight each other but more often then not it would just make her miss the battlefield. 

right now she was in that class watching as once again Jaune failed to beat Cardin in a fight it rather sad. she could have defeated him in multiple ways such as straight up shooting him with the lasgun then rush him with the chain sword.

oh wait the fight was over and Jaune lost again 

Glynda then went this small speech about how he should check his scroll and its been weeks now and that Vytal festival was coming none of these things interested Rose. 

soon it was time for lunch in the mess hall 

at first it was strange for her no corpse starch? no grayish blobs of food?   instead she got all these different kinds of food so she just picked random foods and sat down

Ruby" whats with all the random food?" she asked

Rose" I do not know these foods the only things I had where grayish blobs and corpse starch " she said

Weiss" whats corpse starch sounds like corn made of dead person" she said a bit disgusted

Yang" Weiss I'm surprised you suggested such a thing!" she said a bit surprised that Weiss would think that   

Weiss" what it has corpse in the name!" she said

Ruby" it's just a name down't mean it's actually made from it" she said

Rose" actually Weiss is correct corpse starch is made of recycled human remains " she answered calmly as she took a bite of what was it? a burger? right she may actually like this food  

the whole table was shocked

Jaune" why did you say that I just sat down!" he said as he and his team were now present at the table 

Rose" what? it was all we had to eat" she said food was food 

Ruby" anyway from that, topic Jaune you look not alright" she said turning her attention towards Jaune 

Jaune" what no I'm fine" he said with a the worlds fake'st smile

Pyrrha" Jaune is it Cardin?" she asked

Jaune" What Cardin Winchester no" he said

Ruby" he's a bully Jaune" she said

Jaune" what no he's not" he said not so reassuring

Pyrrha" if you need help you can just ask" she said

Nora" we can break his legs!" she said

Rose" I believe that is against the rules" she said eating her food

Nora just pouted 

then they heard a person say " oww that hurts" they turned to see a bunny eared Faunus getting picked on by Cardin

Pyrrha" atrocious I can't stand people like him" she said

Rose simply did not care at all 

Blake" your not the only one" she said 

Yang" it must be hard being a Faunus" she said

Rose" it hard to be a guardsman but you don't see us complaining about it" she muttered quietly that no one herd it except one person who glanced at her a little 

Rose" what?" she asked as she looked at Blake

Blake looked away " nothing " she said as she looked at her book

no one noticed Jaune leave except Rose but she didn't really care

Time skip profe- I mean doctor Oobleck's class

Oobleck " and during the Faunus revolution what was one of the most important battles?" he asked the class

Weiss raised her hand" the battle of fort castle " she answerd

Rose' that is a lazy name' she thought

Oobleck " exactly and dose anybody know why General Lagune lost that battle?" he said as Jaune made a noise after he got hit in the head by Cardin 

Oobleck" oh Mr.Arc finally contributing to the class I see so what was it that made the Faunus have a tactical advantage over the General's forces?" he asked

Jaune" umm uhh the advantage he had over the other guy" he said as he looked around and saw Pyrrha making doing something with her hands around her eyes

Jaune" umm binoculars" he said

this made the class laugh and Pyrrha face palm and Rose scoffed at the incompetence

Oobleck" very funny Mr. Arc, Cardin perhaps you would care to share your thoughts on the subject!" he said

Cardin" well I know it's a lot easier to train a animal then a soldier"

Rose rolled her eyes at this

Pyrrha" your not the most open minded of individuals are you Cardin?" she said

Cardin" what you got a problem!" he asked

Pyrrha" no I have a answer it's night vision, many faunus are known to have nearly perfect  sight in the dark " she answered much to his displeasure 

Blake" General Lagune was inexperience and made the mistake of trying to ambush the faunus in their sleep his massive army was captured" they then herd a pencil snap as some of the class turned to look at Rose

Oobleck" have something to add Ms. Rose?" he asked

Rose" yes it was very pathetic for them to surrender they should have fought to the last man and killed as many enemies as possible" she said 

Oobleck" but they would have suffered devastating losses " he said

Rose" dose not matter victory is what matters" she said 

Oobleck" as much as I would like to debate this it appears we are out of time Mr. Arc and Winchester can both see me after class for additional readings " he said and everyone left the class with Team RWBY and JPNR looking at Rose weirdly
