Chapter 22

As for Motori and Kohaku, things have taken a rather interesting turn as one of the members of the new Team Kakashi, Sai, went off with Orochimaru after the fight between Naruto and Orochimaru. The fight did entertain them for a bit but it was clear that the sealing jutsu was slowly weakening which Kohaku noticed. Right now they are following them seeing where they were heading keeping a safe distance.

Motori: Well if that sealing jutsu is slowly coming undone, how long do you think it'll be before the Nine-Tails is freed?

Kohaku: From what I can sense, not long at all. However, I'm beginning to lose interest in this little farce.

Motori: Is that jinchuriki not really of any interest to you?

Kohaku: That blonde runt? Ha, he is an utter weakling plain and simple. However, I'm curious to know more about this Danzo person.

Motori: He is in the Leaf somewhere. From what bro told me, he is the one responsible for killing his uncle. Along with someone who reeks of death.

Kohaku: That so? Growling in anger. I'd like to see exactly how this Leaf Village is with someone like him living there.

Motori: If you wish to see the Leaf, I'll follow this bunch and see how things continue to unfold. Bonta should be there as well so you can talk to him about the Leaf's Layout.

Kohaku: Huff. Fine. Just make sure you do not screw this up or I will kill you.

Motori: I know. Said smiling. I assure you I won't do so. As I might have a bit of fun with them before I leave.

Kohaku didn't say anything as she vanished in the blink of an eye. Motori looked ahead as he was curious about a few things that Y/N told him.

Motori 'thought': For now I'll just keep a safe distance from them even with all the training I've done. Even if this snake used to be a member of the Akatsuki, I better be extra careful along with keeping a mental note of how strong Sasuke has gotten.

He continued to follow Orochimaru while keeping an eye out for the clone Yamato that was also following them. The area was a large open plain with several rock formations scattered throughout. Once he found a good hiding spot, he got comfortable as all he had to do now was just wait and see what would happen. It took a while until they finally reached the hideout as Motori blended into the surroundings.

Motori 'thought': Well I'll have to wait and see how things unfold from here. I'm not a big fan of this kind of mission but you just have to get used to it. Said as he peeked from one of the rock formations. Now, where are the rest of you? You three shouldn't be that far behind the clone and me.

Sure enough, Naruto Sakura and Yamato showed up hiding behind one of the other rock formations.

Motori 'thought': There they are. Now I just have to wait and see how those three will do finding Sasuke. Until then, I might as well get some meditation done. This place is rather peaceful and a good place to do some meditation.

He pulled back as he closed his eyes and started to meditate. While he did this, Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato infiltrate Orochimaru's hideout to capture Sai, who was working as a go-between for Danzo and Orochimaru. Things continued to unfold as Motori continued to meditate nearby sensing everything that was going on. While meditating, he could sense that Kabuto was captured and now Sai was working with Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato splitting into two teams to try to find Sasuke somewhere inside the hideout. Naruto and Sai encountered Orochimaru before Sakura and Yamato backed Naruto up while Sai was gone in search of Sasuke. Yamato saw that Sai's bag was left behind and looked inside. When he did, he was utterly shocked to see that within his bag was a Bingo Book.
