Chapter 24

After what happened with encountering Sasuke and Motori of the Five Tiger Flames, Yamato and the others returned to the Leaf village to report in. It took them a couple of days to get back but got back and reported back to Tsunade. Despite what happened, Tsunade saw that their determination to save Sasuke was clear as day. Seeing this she couldn't help but smile she told them to be on standby for their next mission. Yamato told Tsuande about what happened along with the list of Anbu members that were found in Sai's bag which was an offering to Orochimaru. Needless to say, Tsuande was beyond pissed as now she was not only to have to deal with a potential attack from the outside but now dealing with an attack from the inside only made things worse for her to deal with.

Yamato: Also there is one more thing that I haven't told you yet as it's rather important.

Tsunade: What is it?

Yamato: Not long after Sasuke left with Orochimaru, we encountered one member of the Five Tiger Flames.

This immediately caught her attention as she wanted to know every detail that happened.

Tsunade: Who was it and what exactly happened? I want to hear every detail you got.

Yamato: Of course. The one that appeared was the one that Master Jiraiya encountered when he and Naruto were off training, Motori. Just as Master Jiraiya said before, he has the appearance of a tiger.

Tsunade: A tiger? Said rather curious. Well, I guess it makes sense given the group's name.

Yamato: Apparently, he was only ordered to follow us and report back to his leader Grimmjow who he also stated is his brother.

Tsuande: So Motori is Grimmjow's brother?

Yamato: It would be logical to think so. To be honest, if we were to engage him in combat...we would've been swiftly dealt with.

Tsunade: What? Just what are you saying, Yamato?

Yamato: Out of all the opponents I've fought while as an Anbu member, none of them come even close to Motori's strength. If what Master Jirayia said is indeed true, our fight with him would be over in a matter of seconds. I highly doubt that my Wood Style would've done anything to stop him.

Tsunade remained silent as she took a moment to think about this.

Tsunade: So he wasn't after Naruto?

Yamato: No he wasn't. From what I can tell, he was only there to see how things unfold with our mission. As for how he found us, I don't really know.

Tsunade leaned back in her seat arms folded.

Tsunade 'thought': We should be lucky that he wasn't there to capture Naruto. Even so, just how in the world did he know where to find them? Their mission should've been limited to members of Yamamto's team.

Yamato: There were a few other things he said that caught my attention as well.

Tsunade: What were they?

Yamato: Firstly, he said that the Leaf Shinobi are utterly pathetic if we refuse to eliminate the poison that sucking the life out of the village.

Tsunade: Poison? Is he talking about Danzo?

Yamato: I'm not sure but that might be who he is referring to.

Tsunade: I see. Given how things are going, it could be a possibility that they have intel on us. Though the hard part is finding out how they're getting it. What about the other thing he said?
