warning: Some of you might see these characters as OOC these are just how I view them I guess.

Enjoy!!

The smell of roses, lilies, daffodils, and peonies were flooding your senses. Your knees were sinking into the flower bed. Mulch and mud caked your legs, causing your jeans to dampen and cling onto your knees. The past couple of days have been over casted by dark clouds, and raging thunderstorms. One of the newer Sisters of Sin, appointed to help Primo in the garden, left some of the younglings outside during the dreadful storms. You offered your assistance with helping the elder Papa with his gardens any time that you had free. So you took your free time this morning after the sun had been up, to plant them into some dryer soil to stop root-rot from developing.

"Saluti Sorella, I see you got an early start?" You turned to see the man in question walking towards you.

"Buongiorno Papà, I decided that since I was free until this evening I'd help with these plants. I noticed that Sister Taegan had forgotten about the young sprouts when she was organizing them the other day. I decided to re-pot them to prevent anything from further happening to them. They all seem to be fine, I know how rare these plants are to find, at least in these color variations." You explained not stopping from your task.

You heard as Primo walked towards you, his shoes making muffled steps on the grass.

"Hmm, I honestly forgot I got these in, I was too focused on the Japanese Maple saplings that arrived at the same time. Those were more important than these, at least at the moment. Where do you think these should go once they're in full bloom?" You looked over at him for a moment.

"I know the rumors are spreading that a Cardinal is arriving within the coming weeks. They should be in bloom then. I think that a nice set of flowers in his new office window would help bring some life to the dreadful side of the building. I know that there is an empty window box in that office. I think it would be a nice subtle addition, do you think so?" Primo nodded.

"Buona idea sorella, yes the west wing, upper floor I think. It is the only office that they'd put him into, I believe. Nothing grows on that side of the Abbey that is worth looking at." You noticed his tone.

"Not excited about this are you Papa?" He shook his head.

"I don't mean to sound disrespectful. I just have a bad feeling about this whole situation. I don't know what Sister Imperator has in mind with bringing a Cardinal from lord knows where here now." You nodded, it was a strange shift. Yet change is sometimes a good thing, you hope this is one of them.

"Knowing the reason it's probably just so she has someone else in a position of power to do all the paperwork that had been getting neglected by everyone." You knew that if you were any other sister saying this you would be scolded like a child who talked back to their parents, but you were you, and Primo was getting to the age where he couldn't care less with what you said, within reason.

"You are probably correct in that assumption. You didn't hear me say that, however." You looked around.

"I'm sorry, what did you say Papa? I seemed to have zoned out." He chuckled lightly.

"That's what I thought. Come, it seems that everything is now in order. Let's head into the greenhouse, we can converse for a little while longer over a cup of tea." You nodded, slowly standing, shaking off as much of the earth off of your legs as you possibly could. He offered his arm to you, you gently hooked yours through his. You easily matched your steps with him.
