Thank you all for reading this. I just wanted to come in and say I'm so sorry for the lack of updates. I've been working a lot, and battling some mysterious Illnesses so I haven't had the energy or time to write. But here it is.

"Pay up asshole."

"Can we negotiate this?"

"No, now pay up. You don't own any properties worth my time. Now give me my fucking mummy dust you little shit." You took one quick glance away from the tv screen to look at the ghouls sitting on the floor across the room. You saw no fists clenched, no teeth bared, and no hands being raised. So you looked back to the screen to see Copia almost fall to his death, before he made a quick recovery.

The ghouls arrived with arms full of board games and video games. They decided that after everything that has happened. With the whole day off to do with as they pleased, what better way than a lazy game day.

After picking up whichever games they wanted the ghouls split into two groups. The first decided that Monopoly was a good game to play. Alpha and Sodo were impulse buying all of their properties. Swiss, Rain, and Dewie were all playing very strategically. Everest and Cirrus were unfortunately getting the short end of the entire game.

Alpha mostly wasn't paying attention to the game though. Which was why he was impulse buying. His eyes were always on you. Trying to make sure that his brain wasn't tricking him into thinking that you were still unconscious. He's heard from the other ghouls before what it felt like when you died the first time. It was like there was a partial emptiness inside of them. Those ghouls didn't have the connection that he had to you. It felt as if when you left, you took most of him with you. It wasn't some small empty feeling, it was as if a cavern caved in within him. All of the ghouls in the room felt that same feeling.

If they all felt that way to you dying, none of them wanted to know what it felt like when their Papa died. The bonds between Papa and ghoul was the strongest bond there was. Those are the thoughts that plagued him, not the game. If Terzo was to die, what would that void feel like to them?

His thoughts were interrupted by Sodo and Swiss having an argument over how Swiss had two hotels on his property. Which would cause Sodo to either declare bankruptcy or start selling off his own to pay. Sodo, not giving up, sold each of his own properties to pay back Swiss. Leaving him with only fifty dollars. The ghoul was grumbling curses under his breath at the multi-ghoul.

You glanced over at the table where the other ghouls have decided on playing a game of Yahtzee. The table cloth aiding in not hearing the sharp clank of the plastic dice on the hard wooden table. They were all fairly quieter than the group on the floor. It was a very strange contrast, yet a welcome one.

You decided to wait until after the meeting with Primo and Secondo to talk with everyone about how they're doing. Have a conversation, you don't want anyone to be too upset for long over the events that have happened. Everyone deals with emotions, grief, those types of events differently. The ghouls were no different. They've never experienced anything like this. Only Secondo's ghouls about what happened the last time you had died. They didn't react the best after that moment. It was the turning point for them to start treating you with a lot more respect after coming back. Yet, it seemed to a couple of them that they weren't entirely sure how to react. It's not every day people come back to life. Lucifer hardly showed that level of power over people, no matter who they were in his Church.

Minor distractions were always a good thing to have first. Before jumping into deep level conversations. You sensed that's why Primo and Secondo were taking their sweet time arriving. Terzo's Chambers had the largest front room. Able to fit a party of thirty comfortably, which has happened on certain ritual nights. So there was no need to worry about whether everyone and their ghouls would fit comfortably.
