You gave your ghouls a quick glance before traveling back into your room. The events of attacking Nihil's ghoul replaying in your mind repeatedly.
Ever since you stepped closer to that angel you felt off. You've never been one to be actually violent. Threatening, cursing, yelling. One hundred percent you were guilty of that. Yet, you've never hurt anyone with your abilities, except for one person. Maybe two, but that Sibling had it coming.
When they started speaking about what you were, having an ancestor be an ancient being of the earth. It made sense, it made sense that human's gain that type of ability. Yet, that still didn't make sense. There was still something missing in this whole mess that you still can't see.
You looked through your window, just in time to see a lightning bolt strike across the sky. Your mind immediately went to the rage you felt. Having another person tell you secrets about yourself that you've never thought possible. Having her mock you, when she was chained to a cage. Talking about the slaughter of mortals, as if it was some nostalgic television show. You couldn't help yourself. You thought about all of the Innocents that were killed, all because she put the image into people's minds. You did what you felt needed to be done. To end the one who started it all.
Your vision started to get blurred. Focusing on one object caused the rest of the world to shift into unrecognition. Your lungs started to burn, your throat was sandpaper. Looking around the room, it shifted to the summoning circle. Thirteen of the Greatest Demons in Hell, giving you respect, showing that they'd aid you simply because of who you were. It wasn't until after you left them that you realized, you didn't feel any ounce of tiredness. You didn't feel anything that you felt the last time you summoned them with your older brother. You shifted, you left. You went to the one person who you needed to talk to about everything.
Secondo's room was not as large as Terzo's. Yet, it was designed in a very Secondo way. The walls were painted in his Papal robe colors, dark green with black trim. His ceiling was like your office. Glass, so he can watch the moon phases, the constellations. It was here that you learned most of the magic of the stars with Secondo. When he learned how powerful you could be, he made you his own tutor. When you learned more than him, you tutored him. Secondo was your older brother. That is what you needed most in this moment.
He was sitting at his mini bar, cocktail in hand. You watched him from the mirror in front of him. He had his head crammed into some dusty volume. You could tell from the energy within, it was the works of Edgar Allen Poe. That means, that Secondo, the scary Papa. Was in his emotions. He read Poe, like an emotional teen would re-read twilight. When he saw you, his entire mood shifted. He went from brooding, to surprise, to concern. All in the span of a moment. He spun on his stool, on his feet before taking you into his arms.
That is what broke you. All emotions that you had kept within yourself, bursted out of you. Your body jerked as harsh sobs took over you.
"Sorella please, calm down what happened?" Secondo was holding you, rocking you back and forth. Your wrecked sobs stopping you from saying a single word. Your tears long since leaving water stains upon his suit.
Without even thinking he picked you up, placing you on the counter. He walked over behind the bar, pulling out a bottle of water, and a handful of napkins. He placed them on the counter next to you. Taking slow sips of the water, you started to calm down slightly. Secondo took your hands holding them tightly between his. Mismatched eyes, bore into each other. You had no idea what Secondo was searching for within you. Yet, you could tell that he was getting something out of reading you.
"You did something, what did you do?" His voice was stern, yet quiet. He needed to know what you had done, to get this level of emotion to spill from you.
